Hey,

was just wondering if having no DM is really such a good thing, I mean people say it gets rid of aggro spies etc. but whilst I like hacking at terminals I also like cracking the mercs necks http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

In fact I probably enjoy killing a merc more than I do extracting a complete file.

I think their should be a half-way point, for example if your team successfully kills a merc (all 4 life's) or makes a certain amount of kills then they would only have to hack one terminal and the mission is complete. It gives players options on wither they want to hack 2 or not, or one hacks whilst the other 2 try kill.

It would also be a challenge as we all know it aint so easy to kill a merc, well anyway, just a suggestion http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

DA is meant to get rid of aggro's. Introducing the feature you describe would only increase them. The aim of the game is not to kill mercs, it's to extract files. If you desperatly want to kill stuff go play merc, or play singleplayer where you're free to kill as a spy.

The problem would be, is that the spies aren't aggro enough. You'd just get a merc camping in the corner, and because you can't hit him with your elbow, he wouldn't budge.

And anyway, if you want to kill the merc, it's not that hard. Just use a terminal as a distraction. Oh, using a teammate helps too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Oh, I'll never stop calling them mercs ^_^

Reminder that Splinter Cell is a stealth game and therefore the complete opposite of Deathmatch. Spies are not meant to run around killing mercs. They are supposed to hide, be stealthy and not kill the mercs.

If you cannot handle not killing, go play an FPS game.

I dont like FPS so much, and you can still kill a merc and be stealthy about it.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Perhaps you are not understanding very well.

Splinter Cell is a stealth game with the objective to extract files/prevent extraction, not kill the opposing team.

There is no deathmatch to force players to play as the game should be played. Stealth. Even though you can kill a merc, most times you will die because you are not supposed to go head on against the merc.

Yes it's the BEST thing they did to multiplayer. If you like deathmatch go play the xbox verion every game is a deathmatch with some halo vets.
