Im messin around with my photoshop elements, learning some of the basics. Are there any high quality Me109 F2 templates available, or do I just use the void from FB?
Second, just a question so I may understand the theory of layers......you make a layer for each aspect of your plane? ie. a layer for the green part of the camo, a layer for the brown part, etc??? Not that you would but you could actually do a layer for each rivet and then combine the layers to show all the rivets? I wont do that, lol, but just want to understand the principle. Hope this made a little sense! THANKS!

You can make your own template from the void by using the remove white filter.

I use a new layer for each entity, so a leyer for brown camo, a layer for grey camo, a layer for mottling etc. That allows me to tweak each layer separately, and delete a layer without interefering with things I want to keep.

I don't see much point in having a different layer for each rivet /i/smilies/16x16_robot-wink.gif but it can be useful to have a separate rivet layer and a panel line layer

You have to download the remove white filter. Do a search for it on Yahoo and you'll find a link

thx, ifoun one at Mud Movers. Now I have to figure out how to have the ribs and stringers of the wings and fusleage stand out just a bit better so I can have a decent ribs and panel layer to stand out against a darker color like Olive Drab. That white remover also seems to lighten them a bit.
