I've been puttering around sinking merchants and smaller warships but I've sailed to a few different harbour and active areas and I haven't found a battle ship or carrier ,even a passenger liner would do, I did find a fiji light cruiser Around bristol which was stationary cause of the storm I was in . So I'm just wondering where I might come across a capitol ship, I know they weren't as comon as destroyers but this carrer has lasted for a year and a half and I'm not finding anything big.
I was also kind of wondering what sinking a neutral ship does, do I get anything for it?Cause in the manuel it says you get negative points for it but I'm not sure if it does that to me or not , cause I radio home when I sink stuff and it always say keep up the good work. I would assume I should get a different message if they were p-oed about me sinking neutral stuff right?
Also I am running 1.4 un modded
Thanx in advance for any help Razz

SH3 vanilla/stock to my recollection has little in the way of capitol ships or task forces on patrol. Perhaps north of Lock Ewe or the Gibraltar area. The CM also has a list of spoilers and known capitol ships in-port. You may also want to consider SH3Gen, not a spy sat but it can provide your game with extra intel.

One of the supermods like War Ace has lots of reported task forces, carriers, cruisers, liners, all that jazz. The Norway Ops for example or Bismark scenerio is loaded.

When you send reports all you get is the stock responces, there is a way to change that but it involves some editing and or Commander.

Sinking neutrals is a minor debate.
here's a link from the CM you might be interested in. http://www.mysh3.info/shiii/index.php?title=Sinking_neutral_ships

I use the zero penalty for neutrals edit. But then again I don't go looking for them so to say. However when I smack a convoy and there's neutrals under enemy escort I consider them secondary targets and have no mercy if they sink. This way it still costs you a fish.
