Thursday night 8:15 PM E.T.
There are well over 50 servers running in all adversarial modes, but only 9 players on 3 servers!
If Ubisoft fixed Vegas 2 would more players be online, or have they all moved to other games?
There are 86 players in T-Hunt, but several of those have only 1 player.
It appears that T-Hunt still has a little interest, but adversarial modes are dead!
I have to wonder how much longer Trinity and others will continue to run their SADS with few players left!!

The numbers mentioned in this thread are for PC.
Some how this thread was put in the console forums when the split was made!!

As much as I have been enjoying the high stakes mode, if the HS servers are full then I don't play. But there are very few HS dedicated servers because of UBI's lack of competency. I try to play vanilla mode every now and then and find it....mind numbing (to put it nicely).

How hard would it be for Ubisoft to release a finished, working SADS with support for Terrorist Hunt??
That would surely help improve online play for Terrorist Hunt and eliminate the host advantage!!
It also can't be that hard to fix the Hard Core reset problem when a community member is able to fix it!!

You know what? When you have the source code (whether hard coded C++ or Lua-like scripts), it takes less than two minutes to spot the erroneous line and fix it.
If it is hard-coded and you don't have the source code, then things are a little bit harder. You must use some kind of decompiler and must interpret the hundreds of uncommented lines of code you get, without any indication where to begin.
This is what the ''NinjaBoy'' has likely done but we'll never know. On the other hand, for the programmer that wrote the game logic code, I still maintain that it takes only two minutes to spot the error and fix it.
Ubisoft has obviously pulled out the plug on the support of this game. That's not the kind of thing they will announce officially and they will rather let both the game and this forum die a slow death.
You can ask for info all you want. The only Ubisoft employee who reads your request for info is ms-kleaneasy. Unfortunately, whether she will never get the info as well from the higher-ups or she already knows but has been ordered to shut her mouth, the result is the same; you are talking to a wall.

I agree, we are talking to a wall!!!
But at least Ubisoft knows we are still here and holding them accountable for lack of support and no communication for Vegas 2!

I doubt there is anything that can save this game for the PC, honestly I don't know what that could be ? SADS ? doubt that sads will bring any masses back, better gameplay ? doubt that will bring anyone back, etc etc. It's to late, the train has left the station, Elvis has left the building,., bla bla bla.. . to late http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I checked servers and players at 8:30 tonight .. ET, and there were 51 servers running in all adversarial modes.
1 server had 3 players!
50 were empty!
Ubisoft sure knows how to kill a game before they release a new title!!!!

the truth is that someday rainbow six is going to be owned by terrorist and force kids to play it online or they will kill them. while playing the game you will need to place your fingers on a clamp of a grenade and if you ever stop to get food, water or take a ****, you will be blown to peices
