Redemption of Exclusive Content AC2 PS3

Unable to redeem bonus code through Uplay as when I enter the code it tells me it is incorrect. I have entered the code numerous times & still get the same message.
Does anyone know a way around this as it is quite frustrating.

The exclusive content codes are not intended for redemption in Uplay, you will need to access the appropriate menu option which I believe is 'exclusive content' in the games main menu.
