My Saitek X-45 HOTAS works great in IL-2 Forgotten Battles, all except for the main trigger button on the joystick. The Saitek control panel shows that it works just fine. In forgotten battles, it will not register as being pressed so I can't even map to it. Everything else works great, including the throttle and rudder rocker on the throttle. If I unplug the throttle from the joystick then the main trigger works and Forgotten Battles will map to it, but when I plug the throttle back in it stops working. In the XP control panel, under Game controllers, all the buttons, hat switches, and radial dials work on both the throttle and the joystick.
I am a net admin so please offer help in tech terms.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help and time

did you use the advanced setup when you installed the driver? If so, map it to a keyboard key outside the game and see if taht works. I am assuming you have the newest drivers off the saitek site, as they are currently the best.

"We could do with some of those razor blades, Herr Reichsmarshall."
When Erwin Rommel that British fighter-bombers had shot up my tanks with 40mm shells, the Hermann Göring who felt himself touched by this, said: "That's completely impossible. The Americans only know how to make razor blades." and the above was Rommels reply.
