Ubisoft, no Japanese Voices = Rent Instead of Buy.

If this game doesn't have the original japanese voice acting...I am afraid I will not be able to buy this game, no matter how good it is.

This is not supposed to be a threat or something, just a clarification of fact. The english dubs, are quite easily, the worst dubs to ever grace an anime, ever.

People who say the dubs are 'ok' are most likely people who first watched the dubs and got used to them and don't realize how horrible they ruin the originally intended atmosphere of the series.


Anyway, I don't know why a simple yes or no can't be given to the question about this question, since the game is obviously already done there is not any reason to hold this information back, aside to shoo people like me off and perhaps an attempt to trick certain other people into buying the game who think there is japanese audio in it.

Regardless, this is just stating the truth of my opinion; that if there is the japanese audio I will buy the game, and if not it will simply be a rent with the voices turned off or if that option is unavailable my TV muted as to not hear them.
And trying to hide what is most likely a 'no' answer from us is not going to help you with sales at all.

I really know how you feel.

I'm not sure if I will buy the game either. There are a ton of great games coming out in November, and if Naruto has japanese audio it would definitely be my Most Wanted, but without japanese audio there are other games I prefer over Naruto.

I can see that Ubisoft really has done a lot to make this game a great Naruto experience, but without Japanese audio it's not Naruto for me.

There have been too many topics about this... I'm pretty sure UBI already has the Final product already (or at least the disc)and if not they wouldn't have enough time to add some japanese voices so you're a little too late...yes I know English Dubs for non-american content (including movies, anime, etc) is really sucky. But even then you actually can get use to it, it's not the worst dubbing (it may be close but it isn't)... So it would be a nice detail to have the japanese voices within the game but it's just that... A NICE DETAIL

Why not still get the game, turn the Voice sound to -100 and then play without the **** voices?

if they put the dub in wow fantastic ...but if not oh well ....thats not gonna stop me buyin it!! we are lucky to have voices at all it might have just been text with no sound like many rpgs ...

I'm still holding firm my opinion that Ubi is holding out on us on a lot of things. Like Shikamaru for example, we all know hes in the game because he was in the character selection screen but no one has mention it yet. And Ubi is monitoring the coverage of the game because at the end of the Gamespot preview they said theres alot of stuff they are not allowed to talk about...yet. So there is still more stuff to find out.

lol ubisoft just wants us to get more excited which is working so that when we get the game well be so impressed like it does have japanese voices because they confirmed it and shikamaru and hinata are in the game because you can see them in the selection screen so im sure all the doubts we have about the game will dissapear as soon as we play it

I assume you have proof for the hinata as playable from the beggining stuff...and it's probable shikamaru was removed from the game and will be available as DLC character watching the acheivements and the fact there is one secret character that is thought to be ROCK LEE since he doesn't appear in the acheivemnts (at least in the ones shown by IGN)... Now on topic: if the rumor is true there will be the japanese voiceovers available as DLC...and I assume it will be available since the release of the game (it would be kind of dumb/lame that it would be released 2-6 months later)

she better be. it makes NO sense of a game that featured 11 characters and stop around the zabuza fight i believe, which was ultimate ninja 1, has the same amount of characters that this game does which stops at episode 80.

also the shortage of characters is cause it is ultimate ninja 1 was purely a fighting and hinata is just the same as neji!

mr_uchiha would you rather watch a proffesional actor in a feature film or an annoying child in a halloween costume? Because that is the difference between the Japenese and american voice actors for Naruto.
Also to fans of Naruto there is a huge difference between Neji and Hinata especially before episode 81. If you've only seen them fighting in the chuniin exams I understand why you think that but otherwise everything exept the byakuugan is different between them.

mr_uchiha are you serious? it makes a complete difference when you listen to the japanese voices instead of the english ones and neji and hinata are different even in the byakugan there different neji uses his byakugan more skillfully with his attacks then hinata so please get your info correct next time you wanna try and post something here
