Is there a way to drop enemy weapons quickly during a fight?

Hello!

I didn't find any topic about that. I discovered the pleasures of fist fighting and disarming, yet I would like to know if there a quick way to drop a weapon I just grabed?

Sometimes, when I fight a group, I disarm a guy equipped with a sword, then I decide I want to disarm an other guy equiped with an hammer. They only way I know to be able to do that is to select MY sword or my hidden blade in order to drop the weapon... So... Yeah... Is there a quicker way with a contextual button or something to just drop my weapon and disarm again?

(Also, I wished I could keep those weapons... Yeah, I know I can buy them... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif Someday I will...)

(By the way, this is amongst the best games I've ever played (Shadow of the Colossus, MGS series, Legend of Zelda (OOT, WW and TP) Bravo Ubisoft and bravo Montréal! Vous êtes les meilleurs les gars!)

switch to your hand to hand fists and he will drop the disarmed weapon. Hope this helps.

I your sure, because I thought I tried... In fact, when you fight with a stolen weapon, you still have the "fist" icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

If the weapon is a spear or 2-handed weapon, you can also get rid of it by simply countering the next guy to swing at you, and Ezio let go of it as part of the counter kill (and the animations for those are awesome, usually involving your big weapon getting stuck in someone's face!).

If you are wielding a normal 1-hand sword or mace he will not lose it during counter kills however, so in this case (and with 2 handers) you can just hit down on the D pad to quickly drop the weapon and be ready to disarm again.
