Wish you all a wonderful upcoming year. I know it's been tough for many this one.
Don't drink and dive...I mean drive.
Think I'll just try to play tonight, course have to hide from the old nag at 12...

Seldom do we go out, older and haven't for years. We went to a friends house. On our way home we passed a wreck on the road near our home. It was terrible, it's a bad curve on a hill. Two cars smashed together like one.
We just found out one of those cars belonged to a 20 year that lived down the road from us. She was coming home after a private singing gig, hit and killed by a drunk driver..He is fine, drunks just get lucky. This girl had so much talent, model looks, sings great, involved in so many groups at her church...gone.
She lived with her parents and they are of course devastated..She was also going to vet school...So sad..Why I warn my 19 year old about going out, even if you don't drink, so many out there that do.

MWofle thatís truly sad news. I had a friend and work colleague I worked with many years ago, I was only about 17 at the time, we'd seen each other on a night out but out with different friends, she caught the last bus home and crossing the road from leaving the bus 2 cars were boy racing, she was hit by the first, thrown into the path of an oncoming innocent driver and then sent into the path of the second boy racers vehicle.
She survived but only after a lengthy coma and with massive injuries which affect her to date, she remains in a wheelchair and unable to talk or communicate properly. She had just seen her 19th birthday at the time it happened, and shook the local community greatly especially as the drivers were both known.
Situations like this tend to leave us all speechless because itís such a pointless loss of life you just donít know what to say. I hope her family can get through this difficult time, thoughts with them
