If you got a pre-order code from Gamestop that starts with F2P, then this is for the PS3 version and if you get a code that starts with F2X, then this code is for the Xbox 360.
If you got the wrong pre-order key for your version of your game, you have to take it back to Gamestop. They were contacted and are aware of the issue, or at least their upper management will be. If the Gamestop employee tries to redirect you to Ubisoft, ask to speak to a manager because they maybe misinformed or have not been told yet.
