Problem with Eastern Realms in Settlers VI

I bought the Steam-version of Settlers Gold which should come with Eastern Realms. The problem is that I don't get any new content in-game and I don't know how to ativate Eastern Realms at all to get the new campaign, heroes and so on.

I have clicked the correct Eastern Realms icon to start the game every time, but I never get anything new beside the same old vanilla Settlers VI missions and the new hero is not present to choose from either.

To play the Eastern Realm it's another icon in windows; called Settlers...Eastern Realm
