Hunt for wounded bear 1942

I have played the above mission from SH wolves of the Pacific and I can never find the carrier Shokaku while sailing all over the map. Is this a flawed mission or do I need help from one of you guys on this forum that have played this mission.

I've also played this mission many times. (I was bored and needed something to do.) I have never found the "Wounded Bear". I've set unlimited fuel & battery just to try to find it. Sailed (stalked?) everywhere possible. No luck.
I also believe this is flawed mission.
Anybody have a differant story?

It wasn't so hard really, once I got past Yogi Bear, Pooh Bear, Teddy Bear and Papa Bear.
Though I did hit a bit of trouble in Chicago.

I've never played those missions, but in RSRD that takes place, you can catch a lone Shokaku in the Bungo straits returning to repair damage.
Not sure where you spawn for the single mission, but bet he heads through the bunbo.

You can always check the ME and get his course.

I've done the "Hunt" 2 or 3 times. Usually catch it as it passes from the North end of the Sulu Sea? to the North end of Palawan. Haven't been able to find it crossing the Sulu sea. Sunk it each time.
