UK CE Edition delivered today!

I just got 3 copies of the UK Collector's Edition delivered today in a big box http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif , they left it at my neighbour's house and theyve only just got back home - the delivery has come from Germany by DHL, but I live in the UK so it confused me when the DHL delivery ticket left in my letterbox just said '1 box left at No 1 - sender - Germany' (real helpful), I'd paid for the express delivery as its the same for 3 as it is for 1 copy.

Very surprised as my Ubishop order just says being processed or whatever.

that's encouraging, I'm beginning to think orders have been sent despite our order status still showing as being processed, might just have the sim on release day after all?

Yep it activated straight away, then did a big update download and again said activation success.

I made a new Steam user account as my existing one is used a lot by my son on his pc, left it logged into steam and then put the disk in, almost immediately asks for dvd keycode, installs from dvd, then fires up in Steam and initiates a big update download through Steam, reboots Steam and says activation has been succesful.

roll on the promised patch and update at the end of the week, at the moment fps is all over the place.

Are you in the UK Dutch (despite your username!), have you got it yet? I think getting 3 copies on one order meant it was cheaper for them to use UPS and I was lucky, it was so quick. You'll get it soon enough and tbh it needs these promised patches mate.

Zappa, how big was the download after activation? I've heard that once activated on steam it downloads a whole new complete version of what was on your DVD, so about 4.3 GB? then there is supposed to be a big patch tomorrow too.

I didn't catch how big the steam d/l was, but my son who had one of the 3 copies, said it was about 500Mb so nowhere near the 3.4Gb or so the DVD plonks on your drive.
