Hi Guys,

Recently i have downloaded the Ironhand tutorial
for Su-25 Basic Navigation from the site. I followed the instructions and installed it using LoMan. It got installed without a hitch.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

When i open the mission from the "Show" button it says the "version" of the tutorial doesn't match with that of Lomac installed on my machine. As a result the voice over stops working for the tutorial. How to get over this problem? Any patches or something like that?

Thanks

Short answer is No. Ironhands tutorials all say what version of Lockon they were designed for.

The Training tracks sometimes will work with other versions, sometimes not. To the best of my recollection, i have seen some that work 90% but maybe for example the mouse will point to the wrong instrument when explaining something.

What some folks do when they start learning Lockon is to install the basic Lockon, run through the training that comes with it, D/L Ironhands stuff, patch to v1.01, run the Ironhand v1.01 compatable training tracks. then patch to v1.02 and run the v1.02 compatable training. Then v1.1 Flaming Cliffs, etc....

Others will have multiple copies of Lockon patched to different versions on their PC, so they can always re-run those particular training tracks Once they are happy they are done with the training, they delete the older copies.

I am sure this isn't the answer you wanted to hear......

along these same lines- What if a track is played in the wrong version- but the track is more of a demonstration & wasn't meant to be taken over? A lazy man's movie. Will it work?

Probably depends on how many changes were made to the things contained in the track huh?
