Recognition manual - help needed

I'm new to SH3 and just started new career with manual torpedo solution setting on.
During patrol I come across what looks like C2 Cargo ship. When I bring up the recognition manual I can't find this ship anywhere and I've looked through them all. What am I doing wrong?

Have you looked in the right section?

Merchant ships are listed under Handelsshiffe.

They don't come under a specific nations' listing.

I may have looked at it but through some of the manuals I flipped through them very quickly. This cargo ship is flying Canadian flag and it wasn't in the Can. rec manual so I was lost.

FYI, Handelschiffe means Merchants in German if I am correct. you will only find warships in the nations pages of the Rec Manual.
