I frequently visit review sites and found yet another article of shoddy game development and refunding money to angry consumers.

A solution to the videogame refunds question (http://www.tgdaily.com/2006/04/23/opinion_videogame_refunds/)

This article is obviously and directly quoted that it was spawned by Blazing Angels.

I know I filed a complaint with the BBB because I cant get a refund through the retailer (and reluctantly I dont blame the retailer) with a response from UBI that stated that they are not in the position to offer refunds and that I must wait for patches to come out that will fix the games broken functionality.

Well aparantly there are many other people and I reiterate MANY OTHER PEOPLE that feel they have been ripped off!

UBI maybe you should reconsider the whole no refunds policy on this game?

So far basically I have given you a $40 loan for a month now with no ROI.

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

Here is a copy of the email I recieved from the bbb with my case # in it. Any UBI people that see this you can go to this case # at the bbb and resolve this by giving me a refund. Thank you.

Sorry belfastkiller (which is quite an offensive handle in todays world), we are tired of the wait, and we should be able to get a refund or mail it in to UBI (they pay the frieght too) and have a choice of game. They could allow retailers to accept returns also. Sorry but this game should not have been released. So, you may like the game and are able to accept all it's faults, but the majority of posts I have read here seem to disagree, or to pretend that a slow speed roll is actually a rudder like another fan here, but the game is a disaster.

If you're in the UK, you can get a refund under your Statutory Consumer Rights.

If the goods are not fit for purpose when sold and the vendor has not highlighted the problems (so in this case, no joystick support or online support, having to download a 60mb patch to stop it crashing etc) then you may return them to the vendor. By law, it is they who must resolve the situation with the manufacturer as they sold you the goods.

"Game" in the UK have advised me that even if you are outside the 10 day policy they have, they would be happy to exchange as it is faulty goods. If you have any trouble, get them to call their customer services.

I have to say I'm getting tempted to just take it back and get something else. As great as it is, I'm getting bored waiting to play online.
