not much to tell i would think.

Uhm lets see here...

When I don't have a job I drown myself in MMO's like world of warcraft and the like, but when i have a job I can't stand playing MMO's for too long, so I usually stop playing them and stick to games such as Counter-Strike, L4D, stuff like that.

When I used to live in california I made like 300 bucks a weekend going to the local lan tournaments so that wasn't too bad of an income at 14 years old lol.

I listen to alot of various music, ranging from Bob Crosby all the way to like the beatles, Johnny Cash, Bad Religion, but i tend to stick with the music i grew up with, like social distortion, bad religion, authority zero, sublime, stuff like that.

I'm moving back to arizona this month from missouri, was a mistake to move to missouri in the first place.

Hi there everyone, I'm Akana, very new to this place. I was lead here by the G-man, so I thought I'd check this place out.

I'm a full time mom and freelance artist. I don't really get the chance to get out much, so I like to spend some time on xbox live with some friends when I am in the mood for fun and not too busy with other every day life. Games that I usually play are first person shooters, like Halo 3, Quake 4, and COD games, though I only have COD 2 and 3 as of yet. Anyway, nice to meet you all and if you really want to know more about me, then you can visit my profile...I did at least fill that out.

Hi everybody!! Well I'm not a female but I have brought one here.

She's Akana_Yukinai and my wife if ya want to know more about her check her bio.

As for me I grew up with both the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis back then when it was just only Mario & Sonic before Halo 3 & God of War came, which means I'm going to have alot of arcade and Sega classic games on my 360.
I'm a type of gamer that respects everyone (including opinions) and along as they respect me too even if I can become very competitive sometimes.

I just bought my 360 with a Silver Account but can't get a gold until next month so for the meantime

I don't have a bio yet (until I do a little more gaming on my 360) cause I just bought my 360 with a silver account (won't be getting a gold until next month plus Halo 3 which is my only 1st person shooter on 360 so far and can't get the new Call of Duty since it's $60!! So I'm going to buy Call of Duty 2 shorty (Since it's $20!!) along with a few arcade games like TMNT 1989 Arcade Game (4 player classic game for 400 points!!) and all 3 Sonic games plus Gunstar Heroes and Bomerman Live with I buy a gold account sometime next month.

LOL!! True but you're like a sister to me. My real future wife doesn't have a 360 but she has a Wii!! But she won't play anyone online due to how much she really hates the friend codes system, it's a waste of time to enter a 12 digit number ever single time if you want to play online and all the numbers are different for every single game she says!!

She should had got a 360 instead -_- but I understand how much she loves Okami (I LOVE THAT GAME TOO!!). I wish my future wife had a 360 so I can play with her online, oh well Akana can fill in that spot for her.

Hey Akana, you might want to clear out your profile of the information. This archaic forum has a tendency to lock you out of your account if that is filled out.

I would clear out the Bio, interests and possibly occupation. Yea I know, it sucks, cause it looks like you spent a lot of time on the bio.

Thanks for the tip...(didn't realy spend all that much time on it, just copy/pasted a bit of what I had in my blog about myself and added a bit about the gamer me at the end) and also the name is spelled similar to Akane but it doesn't have the same sound at the end..It has the "ah" sound as its ending (like Kanna). Sorry, just had to point that out, so other people won't go calling me Akane.

Lol, if I did, I'd have to add an irc program or whatever it is to get on there...I've never actually used IRC personally, but my mom and sis have....of course that was way before they actually had chat rooms and ims like yahoo messenger and msn messenger.

You can also use VIRC, it is completely free.

As far as Jon goes. He is like the creepy guy that runs the run down ice cream truck. So long as he stays on the inside and you do not let your children near him, he is fine.

Hahaha..yeah, that's the one I downloaded. Haven't quite figured out how to use it yet, but gonna try to learn how to soon. And if I don't like that, I'll try the other one. And yeah, that sounds about like my ultimate zip program...been ignoring it for a year now and it still works.

Lol, I bet there are...they just probably haven't let themselves be known in public. Cause I know I meet people online who hear my voice and then are shocked to find out I'm a girl (my voice kind of sounds like a teenage boy on anything like a mic, phone, or radio though I'm already well past my teens). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yeah this happens mostly on western countries when it comes to girls playing video games and practicing martial arts. (I hate my voice when it comes out from a mic!!) I only recently discovered the Frag Dolls, but I'm fascinated. I'm not a hardcore gamer myself, though my boyfriend is trying very hard to teach me. The problem is really that I do not like to shoot things, unless the shooting involves sparkles and flowers.

Anyhow, I can't wait for Assasin's Creed 2, and I am also enjoying Fable 2 at the moment. If I had time to play more games I'd also be re-playing Settlers and Civilisation. But, I'm off to university in the UK next year to study Ancient History & Classical Archaeology, so I doubt that will do much good to my gaming time.

In any case, I'm a pixel artist (http://zenobiahoman.daportfolio.com/), so I have much respect and understanding for female gamers. I'm curious what the future will bring and I thought I'd take a peek at this forum.

Ubisoft holds Casting Calls when they are looking for more Frag Dolls. One of these just happened in the spring so it will probably be a while before you see something like that again.

Your best bet would be to keep an eye out for Cadette applications whenever that page goes live. There's details about the Cadette program on the main page.

I've loved console games since I was young (woot Super Nintendo!!) and currently use the Xbox 360. In recent years I was more of a PC player, especially with MMOs. In general I like RPG and FPS games the most, except I can be kind of a flake when it comes to scary ones. I couldn't get past the medical wing in Bioshock O_O. The exception, I love L4D! Hello everyone!

I'm Jasmine ^_^ I am a twenty-year-old geeky gamer not afraid to get dirty girly-girl from the Western United States. I am very happily married to my wife, Charity (who is also a geeky gamer not afraid to get dirty girly-girl!)

We've been married for two years and together for six and all six of those years have been spent playing plenty of games together. ^_^

We have a kitten named Wedge, who is named after one of our favorite Star Wars characters. :P

Anyway, I love the Frag Dolls and decided to join this forum, to meet other gamers and hopefully make some awesome friends. ^_^

I've been playing video and computer games since I was very, very little. It started out with everything from arcade games, to Petz, to Donkey Kong Country 2 <3 And it's since grown more and more over the years.

I love MMORPGs (and am a WoW addict,) RPGs, FPS', puzzle games, family games, racing... Everything, really! ^_^

Some of my other interests are (copied from my profile XP): My wife, our family and pets, gaming, traditional and digital art, D&D, shopping, LGBT life, LGBT rights, taking pictures, fashion, make up, camping, learning new things, trying new things, anime, manga, Japan, other cultures, science, history, watching television and movies, listening to music, reading and writing, cosplay, blogging, watching YouTube, religion and so, so much more.

@Arumi: I actually found out about MC2 through my love for Code Geass.

The first time I saw the trailer I knew I recognized all of the voices, after that I found out there are at least 6 VA's from CG as well as Steve Blum. I was highly interested in it because it had a very anime feel to it! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Haha, yeah I know. I actually didn't watch anime until really recently. A number of years ago, I had seen a few DBZ episodes (and probably a couple assorted others,) and was turned off pretty quickly. Then a friend of mine recommended a number of movies he owns, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. There's an amazing teal that I did not too long ago. 'N Rage is the brand. The color lasts a really long time too, much longer than most.

Hi my name's Jon, usually Fortifiedmind in all other areas (XBL gamertag, Steam, Gamespy, etc.).

I've been gaming since I was 5, starting with the original Atari, with Combat, Key, Boxing, Frogger, all that. Then started playing Nintendo at 8 and that's when ish really took off. I really didn't get into community gaming until real briefly with Halo 2 but very momentarily. Then when MW2 came out, it's been ridiculous.

I first heard of you ladies just a few weeks ago (I know. I'm sorry I've been a bit deprived. Just bought my first Comic Con tickets 2 days ago, and went to my first Chargers game when they just recently lost in the first game of the playoffs. But I've lived in San Diego since I was 5. I'm 29, going to be 30 in June. I know. Crazy huh?) Anyways, I was looking up other gaming conventions, equal to PAX or something along the lines of E3 but for the general public, coming to San Diego. That's when I came across you ladies because there was a link stating that you ladies were looking to recruit another member of your clan. And I was like, "what the hell? An all girl clan?" That's when I started doing more research, and read about your step into the spot light with the havoc you wreaked on the Rainbow 6 tourni in I think it was 2005? Then you got sponsored by Ubisoft and so on. (I loved Ubisoft games for the Nintendo but haven't played too many next-gen yet.) So, less be said I became an instant fan and also found out about the PMS Clan in the process. So, WHOA! Completely opened my eyes and ears, because where I live is like a freekin' baron desert as in terms of female gamers. Especially real passionate, sharp, competitive ones, who rake enough to get sponsored.

Other notes, I only have Xbox Live and I have a PC. Here are my specs

Intel Core 2 Extreme OC'd 3.00 GHz (For now)
8 GB's RAM 1200 MHz
ATI HD 5870 1 GB

And yes, built all by me. So I didn't order it or anything like that. Straight from the ground up. I'm an avid IT tech, going to school at a technical institute, UEI to be exact, at the moment for Computer Systems Technician. Currently unemployed. Anyways, I'm married and have a 9 month, soon to be 10 month on the 20th, old son. So it can be rather straining trying to find good quality down time to hone in on my skills. Especially since my wife is NOT of any nature, the gaming type. So our views become conflicted as well, but that is neither here nor there. I'm not here to discuss my domestic issues but I am SOOO ready to start meeting some cool kick *** people/gamers so I can network, get to know people and up my game. Authentic competitive gaming and the hobby itself has just enlivened itself to new heights that I'm eager to understand and perfect. Sorry for the long introduction but I'm a bit of a vivid and expressive thinker. So those who I've contacted already, I'm really sorry if I've come on a bit strong, invasive, over-the-top, what have you. But I apologize. These are the first public forums I've ever been apart of but I'm not your public ignoramus. So I'll try to be more politically correct. I just got done jesting through the rules and guidelines and everything cause when I first got in here, I just zipped through. But I'm more aware of what is and what isn't tolerable here and I'll make the appropriate adjustments to play nice with everyone. Thanks for bringing that up to my attention though. I appreciate it.
Additionally though, I was just simply giving people who speak Spanish in these forums, a frame of reference. That being my particular race, to inquire that I am not a native Latin speaker by any means, and for those people to make all necessary adjustments to their frame of thinking when expecting a reply in Spanish. But this was all before I had read the rules and regulations stating that the Forum Managers prefer that all language in the forums be in English. So I guess I won't have to worry about anyone contacting me in Spanish.

Hello Everyone!
I think I've finally found a good spot to write an introduction so here we go:

I've been a dedicated gamer since I was a toddler and become competitive as I get older. Being the younger child with a brother, I was exposed to many genres of gaming and explored each one thoroughly. I remember my first console being the original Nintendo with the Super Nintendo proceeding shortly after. I became obsessed with the Donkey Kong Country series and must have completed each one 3 times. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve my family and I playing that Super Nintendo, which now resets its memory every time you bump into it. I was young when the N64 released and I soon found my passion: First Person Shooters. My brother and I played James Bond: Goldeneye and Perfect Dark almost everyday. I can't fathom the plethora of hours I spent playing those games, with little knowledge of the greater things to come.
Fast Forwarding to the release of the Xbox 360. Now, I had owned both the original Xbox and the Gamecube so I was naturally ecstatic when I waited, not so patiently, in line at my local Game Crazy to pick up my 360 preorder. Along with my console I purchased Call of Duty 2, which in my honest opinion is the best WWII game to date. I continued through the years to perfect my skills in FPS by playing every shooter I could get my hands on. I finally found my talent in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In the overall 4 days or so of playing online I became a lethal force in Free for All with a FFA win streak of 96 and I even won a couple tournaments in my hometown before I finally moved on to MW2 and Battlefield:Bad Company 2. I now devote most of my playtime to Battlefield and look forward to being part of a squad and even competing in some Gamebattles. Meanwhile, I have been interested in finding a solid online community and forum promoting females in gaming. I hope to become active in the community and will always be a lifetime supporter of the Frag Dolls and their mission.
