I do remember someone getting quickload to work, or just "load"...I think it was, playerX goes to the pause menu, playerY gets ready, then playerX loads the game. or something close to that. maybe.

I've never actually understood - is there a quickload button, or is the only way to go to the pause menu and do it from there? I've always gone to the menu, and never had a problem... but I hear people talking about an actual quickload button... somebody clear my confusion!!!!!

yes the quickload after you press pause!
the fact is that when you load from coop is disconencts you when you move the mouse?
anyone know how to get round this as the missions are getting longer and a slighty painful having to start from the begining every time!
thanks

Hi, I have the same problem, Me(host)and my pal can save normally, but when I press ''Esc'', he presses rdy, and I load(theres a place in the menu called Quick load)then the game loads normally, but when I move the mous or even move one step, the game disconnects me and my pal, but it doesn't crach to me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Hi all, just to say I have this problem too. It's when you move the mouse after a quickload that crashes it for me (AND the other computer).
Nice to know others have this, there is another thread on this...

I mailed Ubi and they said:
" There are still many stability issues with the coop mode both over lan and internet games. Patches are being released as and when they are ready and at least one more is on the way shortly to address many of the still outstanding issues.
That said the specific problem being caused whenyou move your mouse is a trigger that we have not yet come across ... I will pass your comments on to the development team as well so they can consider the mouse problem as being a factor. The next patch should be released soon though and will hopefully resolve this issue anyway."
Well there ya go. If anyone works out a fix please let me/us know!

My $.02:
I have this pesky and very frustrating load bug too. Some players I've played with say they can usually load successfully but most I talk to can't.
For me it's both movement or touching the mouse after the load that crashes me out. Even when I wait a bit to "let things sync up" fully. Move: Steps about 1 step usually, then crash. Touch mouse: Instant crash.
Glad to hear Ubi is aware and working on it at least.

I have had both cases with my two rigs.
1st: 2100+, GF4200ti, 512DDR
2nd: P4 3.0, 9800pro, 512DDR
My mate's rig: 3200+, 6800GT, 1024DDR
My two mashines get the loading bug when I move the mouse on the 1st rig (weaker one), the player on the 2nd can move whereever he likes.
Same happens when I connect my weaker 1st to my mate's system, he can move, but as soon as I do anything the connection is interrupted.
The interesting thing is that my stronger 2nd system can load games without problems when playing coop with my mate. So the two stronger systems do not disconnect, it works like a charm and is finally fun. I will try to get it to work with weak<->strong, maybe cutting down details a lot will do the trick.
Second thing I'll have to try is connecting the weaker system to a similar system (like my other mate, he's on a 2100+ with 9800pro). I'll report back if I find out anything.
We should also consider AA and AF settings as a possible cause for loading problems.
All in all my guess would be that ubi fixed general disconnections between strong and weak systems by setting a higher timeout value for them, but they may have a different value still for loading games.
Anyone else got any thoughts on this?
[edit] I just remembered, I still have XP pro with SP1 on my 2100+, the other two mentioned mashines run home edition on SP2. If everything else fails, I'll try it with SP2 on mine...but I guess it might be irrelevant as most of you other guys here surely use Service Pack 2, I guess?
