I would like to see how your working place looks like (inside the building, sort of a tour or something).
And I would like to see how you orginize your meetings, are for example all siting in a ring and putting in suggestions for a new design feature or something.

I am very curius and would like to learn how big compenies does to orginize alot of people in the gaming industry, I am myself studying for becoming a programer or game designer at the university so I am hopefully in the indsustry in about some years.

I would really like to see a lot of concept art, and a countdown to how much is let until FC2 most likely hits the stores (of course, when the game is at that level that you can start the countdown)
but, concerning the game, I beg You kimi, I beg you, return Jack Carver, its not too late to make it right, and from what I can see CuZ wants the same thing, please, its not too late.

Hey kimi,
The dev blog is a great idea. Good to hear that it seems you are all very enthusiastic about your game and want to share it with us. Whatever you feel is appropriate I'll read it/look at it. Don't spoil us with too many goodies tho. I look forward to the entries!

Maybe tell us about the development more so than the actual game (if you know what I mean). That's much more tantilising.

You can subscribe to the feed like bookmarking a favourite. (In IE7 its under tools\subscribe)

So for a randomly selected feed http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif, you click this link
http://www.obsidianedge.net/index.php?option=com_rss&feed=RSS2.0&no_html=1

Then click on tools\subscribe etc.

Under your favourites menu there the option to view which feeds you are subscribed to and set how often your PC checks for updates...

The dev blog feed for FC2 is here (http://rss.ubi.com/NewsRss.php?pLocale=en-GB&pProductId=9_2404_0_0&pWebsiteType=BLOG)

Like that first installment Kimi, look forward to more game details and how a pro team structures their workflow for FC2...

Only one of the leads worked at UBI before 2004, none picked Far Cry as their favorite game, several did not even pick a shooter as their game of choice. I wonder if any of them actually played Far Cry on a PC. Two of the four are console geeks and LP hasn't played a video game in 13 years.

This does not bode well.

Edit: Please see further explanation below.

Let me clarify, modify and soften my above statements. Obviously I do not believe that LP has not played a game since Duke Nukem (I was assuming he meant the 3D version). But his favorite games are over 10 years old. My statement was hyperbole meant to question the path that the leads have taken to get to FC2 with respect to what they themselves play. I have never met these people and my remarks were a bit coldhearted.

I first played Far Cry a few months after it came out and I still play often. I can say without reservation that it is my favorite game of all time (From the days of the Radio Shack Color Computer). I wanted to see that kind of passion in the dev team. And I am sure they are passionate about their work, but the brief bios do not convey the impression that the leads are fanatical about capturing the essence of the original Far Cry. This is advertising for the next great PC shooter game and the released info on the main players says they are fans of consoles, Civ IV and NHL 1994. My immediate reaction was disappointment. Again, I am sure these are highly competent people who are enthusiastic about their work. Maybe they just need better PR agents.

Let me also state that I am in no way compensated by or employed by Ubisoft. My presence here is voluntary and the powers of moderation I have been granted are at the pleasure of Ubisoft. Anything I say is my own personal opinion and does not reflect the opinion of Ubisoft in any way.

Maybe you could take a lot of questions that we could submit and pick some at random out of a hat and answer them.

another idea could be film random stuff for a while and edit the best stuff together http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

How about some blogs that are geared towards certain jobs. like show what the level designers are doing or the audio guys, modelers, programmers, directors, producers

You could show us what a typical meeting is like that you guys have.

You guys could show us what kind of problems you run into while designing the game.

maybe blogs about what you guys do while not working on the game.

Tours of the workplace

like others have said your trip to Africa.

And everything else that i missed... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

To be honest, I don't really care about the developers' bios. But hey, I realise this is a developers' blog and it's their time to show who they are.

I'm just hanging out for word on the actual development so we can get a few hints toward what we're all interested in: the game. I hope we don't have to sit through too many more bios before the development rants kick off.

5) Will Map Maker offer us alot more to experiance than what it did in Evo&Pred?

7) Will we see more Support Updates and new game play features once the game goes live?

Sry to be negavitve, but I'm not getting positive vibes that a modding community will exist, ie "statements supposidely from UBI on gaming sites that there is no SDK" and the PC version of the editor is only slightly different. Not wanting to start a PC/console arguement, but its seems like an attempt at creating a consistency between the platforms, therefore not taking full advantage of the pc's flexibility and capability.

Whilst this fluffy dual community may exist in a theortical world, practicality says one side will be reduced to the others capability, thus we will never see what Dunia would have been capable of.

If the intention is to keep dev costs to a minimum, fine, thats fine, because you are a business, however, reputation is also worth money its weight in gold.

So what would I like to see is some positive langauge from UBI or "Official in the blog, not on IGN and your partnered gaming sites" comments that there is the intention of having a modding community (not mapping, modding) and what you will deliver in aiding this community.

Sorry to ask such a question and the question probably will never be answered by them, however, I can but ask.

So come on UBI, someone in that Team knows whats going on, throw us a little life line.

Brimtown
02-16-2008, 03:47 AM
I'm getting a feeling - and this is just me talking out of my butt - that Ubisoft is aiming for something like UT3. Meaning, that maps created on the PC can be used on the 360 and PS3. In order to do this, they would want the map editors to be somewhat similar.

That being said, I would fully understand the anger among the PC community if their "Sandbox" editor were "dumbed down" in order to make it console-friendly.

What I'm hoping, however, is that they're actually making the 360 & PS3 map editors more in line with the Sandbox editor, but with a simpler control scheme.

UBW_Clivey
02-16-2008, 12:50 PM
I wouldnt say I am angry, just hugely disappointed and would look for another engine to mod, as would 95% of PC modders.

As for the mapping side, fully appreciate the business aspect, but why if the two communities cant actually play each other on the same map? What does it realistically achieve? What would have been better is than rather than dumb down the PC community, is to make it an option to the mapper upon release. ie. They create their map and then when it comes to finalising it, they get an option to keep the map as is for PCs or dumb it down the fluffy community then some script kicks in and lists incompatibilities for them to change for this "all in one community".

Such a waste of an engine that had potential and day by day, its looks like they are turning what was a PC only game into a Console port, except we are getting the bum deal. As I said not angry, just very disappointed that PC mappers/modders are treated this way.

There have been several videos now demonstrating the engine, and while that's very impressive, I'm excited now to see how the game itself will play. We just aren't seeing it and would like something to satisfy our hunger for video media. MORE GAMEPLAY!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I would like to hear a lot more info about the multiplayer. Will all the vehicles including the glider be in multiplayer? What kind of multiplayer game modes will there be?

We got some questions over in http://FarCry2Game.com/ about destroyable buildings. "We all know there will be destroyable huts and wooden houses. But I've seen pictures of stone houses. My question is: Will they be destroyable to?"

I would like to hear a bit more about the story elements to the game, and how exactly FC 2 will relate to the first. To me it seems like it has nothing to do with the first, which is pretty sad because the first FarCry had a great story, and Jack Carver really was a great memorable character.

Also, some more screenshots and such would be nice.

Hey Kimi, why was the game delayed two quarters of the year? I'm so anxious for it!!! As long as it is for a good reason like making the visuals and the environment better and the overall gameplay. What platform is Farcry 2 best on: Xbox 360, PS3, or PC ?

I'd like to see a blog entry that goes further in depth about the tech details of the Dunia engine. For example, if there will be any DX10 features, some rough system specs, technical details about the renderer like lighting, shaders, if it will be compatible with current antialiasing methods (I'm really concerned with antialiasing at the moment since my monitor only goes up to 1280 X 1024, and the jaggies really get to me in all these recent games that don't support aa.)

I'm certainly in no place to criticize Ubi on the way they put out their dev-blog (they're under no obligation to give us one at all), but I'll make a couple of suggestions. First, make them regular. Putting them up on a fixed schedule will instantly halt any "when's the next one" complaints. Plus, fairly regular tidbits of information keep people interested and keep the forum from grinding to a halt. Second, fill them out a bit more. Now I don't mean you need to post the entire plot summary but, well, here's an example.

In the "IN-GAME CHARACTER MODEL" update, the only real data presented was a polygon range and the fact that characters are generated from a bank of parts. (I don't think anyone was shocked by the mention of shaders and normal mapping.) The update could have been spiced up very easily though. 6 - 12,000 polys, you say? About how many does this Dredlocked fellow here consist of? Interchangeable character parts? How many different types of sections? About how many combinations are there currently? Might you possibly add more?

Even though they wouldn't reveal much information, a few little tidbits like that, even if not finalized, would make the blog seem much more informative, and much more rewarding to read. It might even cut down on the whining I have to wade through on the forum.

I would like to see some info regarding an SDK. Will there be one? Will there be some sort of new version of the Sandbox editor that Far Cry 1 and Crysis had? I'm not just talking about a map editor, I'm hoping that we'll have the opportunity to create full mods for Far Cry 2, since the Dunia engine has so many unique features.

Kimi, i love how UBI is trying to really get right with the community and not be al high and mighty and too important to talk to us "gamers, eww!".

I know in the vlog (video blog not a mistype) with LP someone asked about how rain will affect ur environment. LP's answer was something like : it will affect fire but it will not affect how you drive, etc.

My question is that when it rains, will puddles of mud or water form? will peoples clothes be distinctively darker or muddier? Will river's water levels rise? Or will this be the kind of rain that you just see falling, then it magically disappears when it hits the ground. Cuz that rain sux!

I would like to know (in perhaps a Q&A) if the colors or overall graphics were toned down since some of the earlier videos and screens; such as the demo of the pre-alpha build. I've noticed that the game now looks a lot less colorful (http://ve3dmedia.ign.com/images/02/88/28887_normal.jpg) and really wish it still looked like this (http://www.ripten.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/farcry2ripten_0001.jpg). I agree with you spytroop...this game needs coop and stats...coop well, some will want to practice and some just dont have internet and they just want to play with their other friend on LAN. Stats...well who is really gonna get use to not having stats after playing games like BF2142, BF2, or Quake Wars? If you dont play those games you wont understand how addictive stats are. But, I personaly like it cause I can brag about my playing and back it up. Another thing is cause I can do this and no1 that doesnt play games with stats can.

He's absolutely right.. that rain does suck! you can't have such a dynamic system that alters the course of fire, circulates the coming and going of the sun, manipulates the forecast beyond whats ever be seen in a game before.. and just stop short of not having floods and droughts.. or weather affected cars.. I think it would be awesome if the rivers flooded or evaporated giving the gamer an extra challenge.. (or option ) to sneak into an area that was other wise not accessible. (don't go so far to say we left a little on the table.. cuz for the gamer. if its going to be real, short-cuts take away from the experience and multiply in being noticed as a flaw during that experience..

And with that intro said.. it's obvious that a lot of thought and work went into making a lot of things realistic, and dynamic to give it the most natural environment possible, but why stop short? I want to know about the discussions that went on about what was just not going to happen or be put into the game, and whether or not they were happy with that decision even though it was made? What was the line that had to be drawn and why cross it on somethings but only step half way on others?

PS! either case.. this game should be the best to come for a long time~~ Maybe even a 3rd installment someday.

The title of this thread doesn't inspire anybody to post questions to get answers but more of post something you will hope you'll see in the game, which BTW, sounds a little odd since I believe there is no more time to add content to the game at this stage, yet, moderators want us to post here and that's fine... when do we get answers for our questions though? Well, that would be because the title of this thread is "Dev blog: What do you want to see in the blog?" and not "Dev blog: What questions do you want answered in the blog?"

Since this thread is dedicated to the Far Cry 2 Developer Blog, things get posted on the Blog and not in this thread. Kimi does actually post Blog entries on these forums, so she can keep people up to date who don't regularly check the FC2 Blog page.

There is a more in depth Q&A being planned for the future, since many of the answers to the community questions are not ready to talk about just yet but we will go into more detail as the launch gets closer.

People asked about the Map Maker and the information arrived when the timing is appropriate. There is no point in revealing every little thing about the game, else there is nothing to look forward to when it launches.

Ok, this is very confusing to me now and I want to ask the question so I can finally understand and not post in the wrong thread again.

I made a post which was locked for being to harsh, I could argue that point but couldn't, no worries... I'm ok with that.

I made a new post asking a simple question for Kimi and that was lock as well followed by a PM with a warning.

The warning advised me not to post multiple questions on different threads and that I was pointed twice to this thread to ask my question. I reply to the moderator that I thought the header title was a little vague for this type of questions but since I didn't want to get ban, I posted my question here.

Now, you come to tell me that this is not a thread for questions and that I should go see a Blog that I have no idea where that is. You also state that at this juncture, you guys can't answer every question we ask so...

Can we or can we not ask questions? or should I just give you my money now and shut up!

If so... Where is the pertinent and open thread for it?

How hard is it to answer whether the game is a Console port to PC? os is that a National Security Secret as well.

I am all for tidy forums but lets, at least, have consistency on what you FM's, CM's and Mods want out of us.

Raide
08-23-2008, 02:07 PM
This thread is about the Developers Blog which is updated at regular intervals by the dev team. There are also loads of threads in the forums that cover hundreds of different subjects, so it won't be hard to find a thread that you can post your question in. Now, this might mean you have to search back a while but if a thread is there but it happens to be old, then resurrecting the thread to make your post would be frowned upon. If you have a valid question to ask, and no thread currently is on the boards that asks the same question, then feel free to post.

The wording of threads is very important when you post them. Too aggressive and it seems like a flame, too casual and everyone ignore the post. If you make a post and it gets locked and you are unhappy with the choice, you're free to ask the moderator in question why is was locked but do this via PM and not in the forums. If a thread gets locked multiple times, then there is a reason why it has been locked so many times and that is down to the moderator in question. If you have further problems, contact the Moderator or Myself.

Now the question you're trying to ask is "Is Far Cry 2 a Console port to PC?"

Short Answer, no.

Long Answer, Far Cry 2 started out as a PC project but the viability of new next-gen consoles would mean that a version of Far Cry 2 could be done on those new formats with relative ease. So, while it did start out as PC, it then became a PC, PS3 and 360 project. The PC version will be the definitive version but that is not to say the PS3 or 360 version will be poor. The PS3 and 360 versions are a port of the PC version which is possible since the PS3 and 360 are powerful machines in their own rights.

Now, for this thread, let me report what Kimi posted.

"Opening the floor here for you guys, what sort of thing would you like us to cover in our dev blog? Game information and stuff, of course, is a given but we want to know WHAT ELSE you're interested in seeing! So have at it!"

Raide, I thank you for the response, at least, you seem to be mature enough to be able to carry a conversation with.

Now, there are a few things I still don't understand... You said:

<span class="ev_code_RED">Isn't this a double edge sword? We are scolded for duplicate posting but if we bring an old question that was never answered back we will be scolded as well?</span>

If you have a valid question to ask, and no thread currently is on the boards that asks the same question, then feel free to post.
<span class="ev_code_RED">That is precisely what I did... I search for the question but did not find it so I made a new thread about it. Being an old geezerd in these forums, I made it clear that I wanted my question answered by an UBI official and not a fanboy with speculations at best but my post was deemed Harsh and locked w/o being able to defend it</span>

Here's part of the PM I'd receive by one of the mods here: (This is Verbatim except the text in Red which is my doing)

You created this post <span class="ev_code_RED">(He links me to my first post)</span> about the Console-PC issue, which was promptly locked by Cuz. He explained to you how to go about getting your info. <span class="ev_code_RED">(Cuz has pointed me to this thread, but it didn't make any sense to me so I figured he made a mistake)</span>

Instead, you opened up a new thread <span class="ev_code_RED">(he proceeds to point me to the new thread I made directed to Kimi)</span>, ignoring Cuz's advice, and his warning not to create duplicates.

He then gave me a warning so I opted for posting my question here even though I knew it was not the correct thread and, hence, my previous statement about CONSISTENCY on where the mods, CM's and FM's would like us to post our Q's.

This is my last post in this thread in order to not derail it more than what I have already done but I'd appreciate an answer.

I would say, if you cannot find the right way to post something, then you can feel free to direct a question at me.

Remember, we have so many community members on the boards, all asking a huge amount of questions. Some are easy to answer, some more difficult and some cannot be answered due to timing. Because we are few moderators and myself on the forums, it can happen that we get crossed wires. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Again, if you're concerned about something, let me know.

This does mean that the forums do move very quickly, which can lead to unanswered questions disappearing from view. Again, if you're unsure about post something, feel free to throw me a PM. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

As for the Developer Blog...now, on my PC it seems to be acting up, so there may be something wrong currently. If you notice anything odd, just let me know.

@W2S: To clarify, there was no mistake or confusion.

Your initial thread was locked on 2 main counts:
1. Tone
2. Spamming of these forums with respect to Vegas issues.

You explicitly wanted to ask a question of the Dev team/Kimi.

We have a number of threads set up for the main topics of discussion to make it easier for Kimi and the devs to see what the community is asking or talking about.
Your legitimate, if slightly rhetorical, question did not easily belong in any of the others. However the dev blog has in the past explicitly been used to address community questions. Consequently the best place not to "lose a topic" that requires a developer response, especially during a trade show where to forum is extremely active, is here.

That said, as Raide has pointed out, while Kimi may use the contents of this thread, any responses generally are not posted here, they are in the Blogs themselves...

Kimi hasn't posted a word here in a long time.

As for Kimi's "lack of activity" I can only presume that you mean in this thread? Hopefully the reason for that is now clear. In terms of her overall activity she continually posted throughout last weeks show, give her a chance to travel back from Leipzig and have a well earned rest http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

1. Tone <span class="ev_code_RED">(I don't have any other tone but since this is your forum I guess this depends on your Point of View but I had already said I am ok with it, no need to repeat it unless you want to neat a dead horse to have the last word!) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif </span>
2. Spamming of these forums with respect to Vegas issues. <span class="ev_code_RED">(Again, what we have here is a different POV and if you take my Vegas Issues out of content, I can see where it may be considered Spam. If you read it within the content of the threads at hand, that's another story but, AGAIN... I understood that point as well.)</span>

Why would you say that my question was "Slightly Rethorical?", has the question been asked before? if so... Where?

You keep telling me that I am spamming the forums by posting Vegas Issues, yet, to keep bringing me back to it.

The reason I posted that question is because, the same thing happen in Vegas 1 & II (see, you make me have to get into it!) and we ended up with a Console port. This game is Publish by UBI and made by Ubi Montreal, same Company that made the before mentioned games so, out of concern for me and others... I asked the question.

Yes, my despise for UBI is noted but it isn't UNFOUNDED and if I can help a few new members from being taken to the cleaners, I will keep doing it.

Go to the GRAW I & II and Vegas 1 & 2 forums and search for my posts and you will also see tons and tons of post I have where I HELPED members get their game going and I even WON a Contest that one of the Mods there had going for HELPING OUT.

I understand that you and others want to shout me out, heck, even some of the members here would like to see me go but, since I am a customer as well, I am also entitled to post my thoughts and discontents with the Company.

I said I wasn't going to derail this post but I also wanted to Thank Raide for his precise and consise answer to this matter... I really appreciate that.

In Crysis the DX9 version does not support physics and day and night cycle in multiplayer. This is caused due to the tremendous server load such physics might cause on crowded gaming servers according to Crytek. Well, I don't know about all that. There is a hack around it for both the physics and day and night cycle but I am wondering about Far Cry 2 DX9 version.

Will Far Cry 2 DX9 version for the PC support physics and day and night cycle in multiplayer?

I would like more information on the map editor. I know there are a lot of videos but some of them didnt answer all of my questions.
another thing would be a confirmed and solid release date, and finally some info about a collectors edition. Because a guy at Game Stop told me there was a special edition that you could only get at Game Stop, but I dont know.

(THANK YOU) and good topic Kimi!

I do believe that the Farcry2 engine may offer the opportunity I've been waiting for to create the game mod I've always wanted to...

1. Has the technological power of the engine been reduced compared to Crysis in order to run well on the consoles, or will the PC version be just as powerful if not more so?

2. Will FarCry2 be as powerfully moddable as Crysis? Can we get more details on what modding tools there will be aside from the map editor?

3. Will the map editor have the capability to do everything a dev does, or is it a dumbed down version of the map editor so that consolers can make maps using it?
Also, to what extent can modders improve on the options they have with the editor through scripting and such?

4. Can the terrain be dynamically deformed according to event or map triggers?

5. Can the terrain be made to dynamically deform based on explosive strikes?

6.How big is the maximum user created map size in kilometers, and what is the max number of enemies or objects we could populate it with?

7. How many enemies can we mod to have fighting on screen at once, if we want really huge battles?

8. How moddable will the AI be, so that we can get custom behavior for something like a period war mod?

I want to know all about multiplayer (esp for consoles).

-Is there a lobby system like halo 3 how extensive is it(call of duty did a halfbaked version of halo 3's lobby system and it failed so will you have a full easy to use lobby system like halo 3 or a halfbaked version like cod4)?

-How do the different gamemodes play and how customizable are they?

-If you join a game as a group do you get matched against other groups or is it random?

obviously, there aren't splitscreen. But I want to see some multiplayer footage.

And I want to see a picture or a video of using knife against your enemy. Just to see how it works.

i went onto xbox.com offical website, and it had a list of things on it... like Singleplayer, Multiplayer... ~BUT~ the XboxLive Multiplayer wasn't checked?

~~I would like to know if it will be XboxLive enabled..~~ whats the point of making cool maps if you cant share them with everybody ?!

(I only care about the XBL+MapEditor)

another thought about XboxLive... if it doesn't have it i bet it could be awsome like Assassins Creed... too bad Assassins Creed got so boring after you beat it, i mean if it had multiplayer i could have put down Call of Duty for abit.

I also want to know if there will be destructable environments beyond just shacks, which is basically what we saw in crysis already. What about hardened buildings, do they just not exist in the world or can they be broken apart piece by piece using explosives too?

I'd like to see the 'minutes' of the meeting (if you have them) where it was decided (and by whom) not to have prone, lean or assault game mode in MP. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I asked this in a separate thread but since people are asking questions here as well I will too.

On Bungie.net users can upload their maps to the forums and people can rate and download them on the site and when they turn on their xbox the maps automatically download when Far Cry 2 is launched. Users can create a thread for each map in a dedicated forum for custom content and embed screen shots of it.

It'd be great if users could write comments about the map which can be viewed in game or online and the map creator can pick a top comment that goes under the map description and is the first comment that is displayed. We should also be able to rate comments so people who just say things like: "This map sucks" or "This map is good" without anything to back it up, those comments can be voted up or down.

For those unfamiliar with it you can look at it here. (http://www.bungie.net/Forums/default.aspx?mode=halo3)

Also will we be able to track our map statistics online such as how many people have downloaded the map, how many people have rated it and a breakdown of the ratings (for instance how many gave it 5 stars, how many gave it 4 stars etc.)? I want really detailed statistics, like most downloaded this week/month/all time. Amount of times the map was played in a multiplayer game.

Well as RLJ97 was saying about wanting to know more about the multiplayer and modding tools we hopefully will be getting, I would like to see that information in the blog as well.

More mention has been made concerning the map editor used on consoles. While those of us that would like to add to the FC2 experience through use of mods are still in the dark concerning what will be available to us once the game releases late October.

So I am going to just ask to see in the blog more information regarding the moddability and tools that will be available to the PC gamers and what amazing experiences we can create http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif . Thanks in advance and hope you can accomodate our wishes in the blog.

Dont know if its already been mentioned, but im seeing some awesome graphics work popping up all over the Farcry 2 Website, and Magazine covers...

Could you do an article on the making of such an image as this one Image Link Here (http://www.farcry2world.com/pages/gallery/gallery/main_background1.jpg)

So much attention to detail its impossible for a avid Photoshop user to even think where I would start !!

Thanks

I have no problems with consoles, as long as they stick to there consoles ! :-) I brought a PS3 when they came out, and brought COD4 for it, worst money I have ever spent... its just so sllloooowwww and un-responsive, seems to take a life time to simply move the weapons crosshairs onto a target, my brother in law, who swears by consoles agrees as well, and says all the console players are in the same boat... which makes the game play equal.

I started playing PC games on PC (Farcry was my first PC Game) and im never ever ever going to waste a single penny on a console ever again.. No hard feelings though towards the majority console people, im sure they all have there own reasons for playing games on a console... I think the main one being cheaters/hackers being a major PC problem...
