Try replacing these key functions in your user.ini, the one under C:\documents and settings\yourusername\application data\Gearbox Software\Brothers in Arms, NOT in the BIA system directory

Equals=hidehud 0
Minus=hidehud 1

ie you will be able to turn the hud (and compass) on and off using the equals and minus keys (plus & minus keys) while in the game whenever you want. It is better for gameplay than the 'killall hud' command because it leaves the weapon visible in first person view.

This works perfectly for me. post again if u cant get it to work.

The only shortcoming is that the red fire icons do not appear above the targeted enemies, you will just have to point the centre of your screen at them; I prefer it this way though, I hate silly little user interface icons in any kind of simulation.

PS you dont need to use the equals and minus keys, you can put the hidehud command under any key listed in the user.ini
