problem with the missions that show a binocular icon

Hi i purchased silent hunter 4 gold awile ago and i absolutely love it but i my career whenever i have a mission with the binocular icon-such as patrol the Luzon Strait-the icon will never change color. Itll never acknoledge that im here now and tell me what to do next-such as engage enemy shipping-kind of effectively ending my career.

freewildocean here is the link to the SHIV Guide (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6421019045/m/4351073726/p/1) that cmdrmoosicvs speaks of. There is a section in the guide that talks about completing missions.

You have to stay within a certain radius of the binoculars for 48 hours I believe.

When you are given the mission it should say how long and how many miles you have to stay by the binoculars. Once the binocular changes to black you can radio in for a new assignment.

Welcome to the forum FWO....When you get around to wanting to mod the game, download this tutorial, read through it, and follow it step by step. A little tedious the first time around, but it'll get you where you're going, and with a little use, it'll be a snap....

TMO right off the bat might be a little frustrating. I'd give TMOwTW a try first...Same thing, but less "agressive"...
