i know this has been asked b4 but i was just wondering about drivers.i have been trying out different drivers lately. anyone have any ideas of what would work the best. BTW i have a heh http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif heh compaq presario http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif but its a 3200+ amd athlon, 512 mb ram, PC 2700. 200 gig harddrive. 400 mhz FSB. ummm 500 watt power supply, BFG 6800 oc.Can anyone help me?

try these, i just recently downloaded them they work great. dont forget to use driver cleaner and cab clener after you uninstall your old drivers.

Yep, get the 67.03 drives and be sure to install 1.3 patch.
I also have 6800 but it's made by PNY and after installing those drivers and 1.3 patch my fps went up by almost 20%.

P.S. My 6800 is softmoded and OC'd to 380/820 so you might get slightly different results.

may give those mentioned ago though

i did change to 66.81 but it seemed to make my fps stop when something exploded.

ya what FPS are u guys getting when u press \r_displayinfo 1 in ur console on very high everything aa, af AMX i get about 30- 50 FPS!!! HORRIBLE I THINK and on medium i get anywhere between 50-120?? what are u guys getting?

There's a big difference in SP and MP with the same settings. They'll be lower online, but with all Very High and AA Maxed I think I'd run about 70-250 SP avg of about 100ish and MP 40-150ish avg of 60ish.
