My graphics card is there no hope?

Sorry to bother you guys but I am so upset! I waited weeks for my pc version of this game to come and now I find I have the wrong graphics card http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Mine is a Radeon X600 256MB hypermemory card, ALL other PC games I have had play but not this, It took ages to install and the weird thing is the start plane crash plays but when it goes into the actual game the screen is black with a funny mushroom type sploge that moves when I move the mouse, If I move my mouse far to the left I can make out a sunset...Is there anything I can do to make this work? I really can't afford a new graphics card Im SO UPSET! xxx

i'm prety certain its the age of the graphics card but have you tried updating the graphics driver?

Thanks hun, I did look into updateing my graphics driver but I will have to read up on it as it scared me! I did do it via my control panel and looked up the drivers and it said it was upto date, there is something online thats the bit I didnt get.
I guess I will have to save up for the playstation 3 version such a shame. xxx

This may be a case where updating your drivers will actually help. I wouldn't do through the control panel. There is a free application called Driver Cleaner Pro that has really good instructions about how to do it properly. Get the new drivers from www.amd.com (http://www.amd.com). It will probably make it playable in 800 x 600 with details turned down, except for all of the random glitches that a lot of people are experiencing.

I had the exact same problem.

Unfortunatly your graphics card doesnt support shader 3.0.

There is no other solution but to get a newer graphics card that is shader 3.0 compatible (which is what I did)

Or not play the game obvious

Updating drivers doesnt help your problem
