My friend has SC:CT on Xbox, and I have it on PC. Is there any way these could work together? Or could I be able to run the game on both computers at the same time? Currently I don't know because it checks the disc... does it check it after the game is loaded?

You can play with your friend only on PC LAN. Since he has an xbox and you have a pc. Install CT on another PC in the house and you can play 2gether but not online since you dont have a 2nd CD KEY.
