I had POPWW installed on my computer for a while. I had to erase hard drive due to a virus. When trying to reinstall i get a error message
Component - Games Videos - Weapons
File Group - Common Video Files Weapons
File F: \video\weapons\mains\1\main011.bik
Error - data error( cyclic redundancy check)
I do not know how to surpass this problem, PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!

Did you reinstall onto the same computer hardware setup (same graphics card, same cpu)?
Did you reinstall from Ubisoft CDs or just copy from some backup device?
There are other discussion topics where some game players published work-arounds when they encountered problems with the .BIK files.

I had all 3 POP games installed from the original discs before the problem. I was able to reinstall Sands of Time and the Two Thrones, that is why i am so confused. I have other games that have much more scratches on the disc that still load on the computer. My POP discs still look pretty good.

Then there are existing discussion topics regarding .BIK files, skip watching videos, cinematic scenes, etc. where game players have posted some work-arounds.
I suggest that you use this forum's search engine to help you locate those discussion topics.
