Splinter Cell (First one) runs too fast

Hello~

Seems to have a problem with the first Splinter Cell for PC, the game runs too fast!

Dell Inspiron 6000
Pentium M 1.8
1 GB RAM
Radeon Mobility X300 (Catalyst 7.1)

Tried reinstalling drivers and the game, and I tried changing the settings for the drivers, disabling Catalyst AI, forcing refresh rate, forcing V-Sync, nothing works!

Any suggestions?

I also tried this with Pandora Tomorrow, dsame thing happens! So this is definitely something with the engine.

Any help?

if you have a laptop (which i think you have since you write that you have an M-processor), you have to set it to maximum performance before you run the game.
it may not be the solution for your problem, but similar thing happened to me with my previous laptop and this solved it.
