I'd recommend any number of soundtracks by the late, great Jerry Goldsmith. For example, this brilliant passacaglia from THE BLUE MAX (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGohOgkuI64&feature=related). Of course, if you want something more in the spirit of SH4, try TORA! TORA! TORA! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0n4piGt_VU&feature=related).

One of my favorites is the Klingon Battle music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58wJRrvVgZI) from the first STAR TREK movie.

And now, to be über-politically incorrect, I'll provide a link to a piece I'd like to accompany a real life attack. Allow me to set the stage.

You'll have to imagine an alternate universe in 2004-2005. The Iranians have refused to dismantle their nuclear weapons program per the American ultimatum. The first squadron in consists of F-22 raptors flown by female pilots. To accompany the attack, the Iranian airways are blanketed by the TEAM AMERICA theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZdJRDpLHbw) (language warning). I can't imagine anything the Mullahs would find more infuriating that to have the attack spearheaded by women. If any of the pilots were Jewish, that would be icing on the cake.

Had I been President in that time frame, that's the way it would have gone down.

Some great ideas here. I tend to favour "Rubber Ducky"

This one moves me by Normie Rowe (I used to work with him a bit - played piano for him).

Wow, Secret Agent Man came out when records were still made out of vinyl. Try going for a walk Mr. VonTrapp, it's a whole new world out there...

He lives in Jersey. It's almost as backward as <STRIKE>Pennsylvania</STRIKE>. Transylvania.
I'll never forget the reaction from my children the first time they saw a TV program that was taped in black and white. They thought the TV was broken. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Procrastination is a virtue! Yeah, me too. I've already converted about 1/4 of my collection, but it is very time consuming. Still, I believe that LPs offer superior sound to CD, save for some minor pops and clicks that I painstakingly remove with a few software programs.

I bought this turntable about 4 years ago, but I believe it has since been discontinued:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Z...urntable_review.html (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ZtWmXQieL1U/learn/reviews/20040224/turntable_review.html)

I can't say enough about it with regard for converting LPs to MP3. It's equal to a Technics 1200 series in every respect except one, the chassis is hard solid plastic, instead of metal. Of course, I use a "ground loop isolator" to remove the inherent background hum.

Here's a picture of the turntable:

Yeah Wernher - mine's no name brand with a USB port but I too enhance them with a bit of software. It was under $A100 but the results are very good.
