These "Big Fish Babes" are like the Frag Dolls of casual gaming - only older! They were recruited by Big Fish Games to help test and promote their upcoming games.

I think this is awesome. They're a great example of an unorthodox group of gamers getting together to do what they love. They really illustrate how far the gaming industry has come.

That is awesome! As a non-20-or-30-something, I love seeing older gals get this kind of attention for their love of gaming!

I SO know what I'm going to apply for in 20 years! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Ha, is it? I completely forgot he works there!

Phin, intellectual theft isn't cool, dude. With that said, the Frag Dolls are BAMFs so I can see why you'd want your company to have them too ;D

I suppose I can expound on this a bit. Yes, the "Big Fish Babes" are a group of women that act as a representative sample of the "casual" customer base that Big Fish Games, and many other companies like it, cater to.

These women were chosen based on the various genres within casual that they play (Time Management, Hidden Object, Puzzle Adventure, Match-3, etc), their extroverted nature concerning their love for games, and the community they have developed together as a result. We often bring them to the office to test new games to tell us what they like and don't like, and we provide some of our developers a chance to meet with them. It's a great opportunity for our development partners to really see and hear what the customers want.

I have met all of these ladies personally over the last few years working at Big Fish. They are wonderful people, and their community is not that much different than ours. They have forums they talk on at Big Fish Games (that I helped build and shape before becoming a producer), and travel to see each other, and come to casual industry events like Casual Connect here in Seattle earlier this month (the casual equivalent of E3 for the core audience).

They are a great example of how gaming is a cross-gender/cross-generational hobby, and they'll be the first to tell you how happy gaming makes them in their daily lives.

Now we just need to get them to try Starcraft, Team Fortress, and Modern Warfare http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Shameless plug time...because I can. Some games I've produced so far for Big Fish Games (http://www.bigfishgames.com).

Redemption Cemetery: Curse of the Raven (http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/8772/redemption-cemetery-curse-of-the-raven-ce/index.html)

Nemo's Secret: The Nautilus (http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/8720/nemos-secret-the-nautilus/index.html)

Echoes of the Past: The Castle of Shadows (http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/8588/echoes-past-castle-shadows-collectors-edition/index.html)

Puppet Show: Souls of the Innocent (http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/8425/puppetshow-souls-of-the-innocent/index.html)
