Well, there are some parts of the debut video, that annoys me, and may bother players, who seek highly realistic flight simulator.
First the Rafale pilots appear with JHMCS helmets. They obviusly look cool, but JHMCS is not applied to the Rafale. It has an othe helmet that also looks cool, but totally different.
Missle: a new era missle makes no smoke trails. Or just a very little.
Missles don't chase planes for minutes, not even 30 seconds! Missles don't act like in the movie Behind enemy lines. They have one chance to hit the plane. And the plane have only one chance to get out of it's way. If a missle doesn't hit the target it blows up. Not hitting ground.
The bombs of the Rafale: I'm not really sure, but the thing that in the movie the pilot launched... It's a bomb in real like with no engine onboard....
Aiming a laser guided bomb is not so easy as it looks like in games. The laser must be swithced on in the right time to let the bomb soar newr enough not to fall too short...
The laser designator: isn't it the co pilots job to aim with it?
But the idea is good, and I like the graphics.

I think it's a moot point.

that bomb is not a bomb, it is a proper AGM, I forget the name of it but I made a post about it somewhere. It is the new french atg missile. second, certain missiles can target and maneuver off axis with a high turn radius meaning that they can and will turn themselves around in order to get back on you until get run out of energy, but since this usually happens 2-15 secs after launch, modern missiles tend to bleed speed rather rapidly and are generally only good for one 180 degree turn. However, I made a post about the amount of smoke, and you are partly right about modern missiles not having much smoke, but SAM's tend to produce more smoke since they have larger more powerful motors in order to get the missile up to speed and altitude with some maneuvering capability.

what was the scenary of the first video, where did it took place?
yes the first video has some weird things, like the rafale going on a lone mission to strike something in the middle of a city that seems to have stinger/igla launchers, and even if it's a missile and not a bomb? do you throw a bomb like that into a middle of a bunch of tanks and wait for them to explode? what about the bridge they're in? seems more likely to fall down than blowing the tanks. something another type of aircraft would do, with another type of weaponry.

Infact the phyton 4/5 dose have a second hit capebility, and any other IR missiles, but only on "luck". But phyton 4/5 is programmed that if it misses first time it will do a 180 and try again if it has cenetic enery left though,
Sry for my bad english
Cheers!

Guys, don't forget that a Teaser Trailer is only supposed to attract potential customers (in Marketing often referred to as phase 1 of the AIDA principle = Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and is only meant to give you a brief sneak peak into what the game is all about but is in no way representing the final game itself. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
In other words: It's only meant to introduce you to the game's overall concept, not the gameplay or the graphics of the final game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You're right. The GRAW 1 and GRAW 2 theatrical trailers are perfect examples of that.

Because you are flying for a PMC.
