ranked matches ruined

First off thanks to Ubi for the patch. The guns in the game are now exactly where they should be. Ar's are exremely lethal weapons now, lmg's are more then usable, and you can't snipe across the map with a damn smg. But why did they have to go and ruined ranked matches by not allowing to me to kick glitchers or spawncampers. Ranked matches are bad enough with every other person asking me to do the points glitch. Instead of not allowing a host to kick people mid game they should have fixed that damn glitch.

You guys are fricken killing me with 100 threads on the rank glitch. Its two weeks old and you people are just now figuring it out and talking about it. This is getting ludacris. If your host you have the power not to do it and as far as kicking people from a ranked match when it starts GOOD thats the way it should be. I couldn't even picture games like GoW where you could kick people you didn't want playing. You would never get any achievements. It basically only lets the host trash talk while everyone has to shut up or fear getting the boot. Makes it fair all around. Spawn camping goes both ways dont forget that.

Yeah I've known about the points glitch for a long time. I wasn't making a big deal about it in this post. I'm saying that that I'm a fair host and don't boot people for winning. Heck forget about glitchers and spawncampers altogether, last ranked match i played i had three people not playing at just sitting there getting killed. Why shouldn't I have the power to boot those people?

ive been playing alot of ranked matches the last couple days and havent had ANY do the point glitch.. i dono when your on but ive probably played in 10+ straight now that dont do it nor has anyone asked to do it in the room

you may be a fair host but what about the guy that kicked me saying "no1 kills me, you glitched"

i think we should be fair and say its NOT because they took the kick feature OUT of the ranked games.

it sucks because they took the feature out WITHOUT fixing the major glitches.

the real problem is that they didnt fix the corner glitches, cheats, etc.

Is there anyway they could put some kind of system in place to be able to get people out of a game who aren't playing. I've been hosting ranked matches all day today and it seems that it's not very competitive anymore either. After the game the other team usually ends up screaming are we doing the points glitch and were waiting for that to happen instead of playing. I doubt they'll fix corner glitches anytime soon.

I'd rather lose a few games cause of idiots who don't play you then write their names down or give em bad player reviews and don't let them back into your rooms (wish their was a feature for that, but anyway). I'd rather lose a few rounds than lose points when i'm winning because the host got mad that he lost(ive lost about 50k points that way and it makes me mad).

Host player matches, you still get points for winning but you can boot people and play more than 1 match in a row, best of both worlds

Spawn camping is part of the game. get over it. you have 5 seconds to do something, either do it or die. Every single FPS out there has had this issue. The solution to your problem is kill them before they kill you. Frustrating? ya, but its part of the game and always will be.

The glitching is what really pisses me off but there are ways around it. smoke, frags, flanking... use them thinking they are safe as a way to go kill them.

Not quite. One group of people *****ed about being booted, now a different group is *****ing about losing it. They are not the same and that is not everyone. not being able to be booted = I can do whatever I want now.

My thoughts exactly. Although when I really get pissed off because the other team is cheating I just end the game for everyone.

I agree with you completely. Fixing glitches/cheats/exploits should come hand in hand with removing the host kick option. Host kicking is absolutely necessary when cheating is readily available due to game glitches.

You can thank the jerks who kick people mid game because they are losing for the removal of this option

However, I disagree with you on the spawncamping issue. Sadly, spawncamping is simply the best strategy. R6V is a game of position and camping. (hence the cover system) You take a position and slowly advance on the opposing team's position until you get them pinned. Once you do that, your odds dramatically increase. Multiple spawn points are the only way to combat spawn camping.

Yeah I can live with spawn camping because I usually pin the other team in their spawn from the outside of their spawns. In a place like streets where people hide behind boxes inside of your spawn and then wait 5 seconds to show themselves and shoot you from behind. That's the only kind of spawncamping I don't like. It's perfectly okay for the other team to stay outside my spawn and camp me because I can at least move five feet from where I spawn. So except for the one map spawncamping doesn't get me as much as glitching. I was playing a retrieval game this morning and a guy glitched inside the canister retrieval bin. So it was impossible to kill him with grenades or guns, yet he could shoot me while he was inside of it. He was ompletely cheating and he would have been kicked immediately for it, but thanks to Ubi I can't.

Every time im in a game lobby someone always asks "Are we doin the points glitch"
It is now gettin really annoying.a kid who was hosting the other day asked does everyone know how to do the points glitch another kid answered not long after "No what is the point glitch?" for this the host kicked the player.When i asked him why the hell he kicked him he answered "because he don`t know how to do it and they always screw it up. Now i dont do point glitch always press A at end o match.
But if that were me he kicked i would not be happy Being kicked because you dont know how to cheat?????? not doin you any favours Ubisoft.

Personally I am one of those who is happy the in game kicking is gone. I am frustrated that they didn't fix the glitches. As has been stated, those two should have gone hand in hand. To fix one and not the other seems a gross mistake on Ubi's part.

At the end of the day, the following still holds true. All you need to do is boot those players who are cheating when the match is over. 20 minutes really isn't that long a period of time compared to the way it was before. You can thank those people who were booting to cheat for the feature being removed.

To be honest, this exact same feature was patched out of GRAW originally, so it was suprising to me to see it come back in RB6:Vegas. Hopefully they have learned their lesson. I do believe a vote to kick system or something else could be created to help with in game issues, but I am strongly against any one person having all the power. That is usually when it gets abused. Thanks.

I agree with you TROUBLENESB. An in game voting system would be would be completely adequate for ranked matches. As for kicking someone after a 20 minute ranked match. You only get to play one at a time. Why would I kick someone when the game is over and I have to start a new match. I hope you weren't thinking they removed the in game kick from player matches. Anyways they should put an auto kick on people who glitch. That would be cool.

Totally in favour of in game voting system as there are some real jerks on there sometimes.

Why not fix the glitch period, i mean we all pay a lot of money for these games and then find its riddled with glitches that causes nothin but grief for both customer and company.Come on Ubisoft stop taking the p!ss you wouldnt expect to buy a brand new car with scratches on it so why should we spend our hard earned cash on a glitchy game . i realise we spend more money now days because of new tech and detail involved but hey you should be justifying with amazing quality glitch free games.

Glitches should be fixed, not worked around. There is no excuse to still have a game this glitchy after almost 5 months of time. Unless that excuse is that we don't want to spend the time or resources to fix it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

playin online now and the only glitch fixes that i can see is the change to the guns eg you cant snipe someone with a shotgun other than that nothin has changed i am now really p!ssed off with this as i still get shot though walls etc.. the very last money i ever spend on Ubisoft products sorry guys but you really let your customers down on this one by insulting us with a half finished game for a full price. no one else to blame but yourselves
