Anyone else having problmes becoming the VIP?

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I can't become the VIP! I played at least 20 VIP matches in a row at 5 on 5 and I was always on the defending team so i could become the VIP. I was never it once, and everyone started to notice it. People were being the VIP like 3 or 4 times in a row, and I never was it. I joined another match thinking it may have been the game and played like 5 matches and i STILL have not become it! Anyone else having this problem or have any suggestions as to why this may be happening to me?

Might have been chance, but seemed like the last person to ready up was the VIP. Didn't pay too much attention to it though.

I believe its the guy on the number 2 slot on the defending team, that is what it was in my game, every erson that was 2 was the vip

well I played a match where my Team Leader, was VIP for 13 rounds, then I was once, then he was again for 4 more rounds. I think it's host, or highest rank/skill player.

^ I hope they don't do it by best connection. I still have not got to be the VIP once, yet some guy i was playing with got it 7 times in a row. I am an elite and was the highest ranked player playing, so i don't think that is it.
