Ubi you guys are making the game right. I really don't get why we need to get the Wii Motion Plus. I mean I have to sadfully admit I am a little cheap, but seriously whats the problem with playing with the Wii Mote. A sword fighting game wouldn't be the same without the improved motion control of the wii motion plus. If you are too cheap to spend the extra $10, then just replay RS1. Have fun.

Wow I really wasn't expecting an update like this. Gotta hand it to Wuzzi and team ubi for supplying us with a constant stream of goodness.

@Metanight It's simple. Did the first red steel work out very well? If you understand the technology behind the wii motion plus and what it offers, I'm sure you'll know why it's absolutely necessary.

would you be able to make a playable demo for an example like on the demo you just hit a beam bag just 2 see how gud it is 2 use the wii motion plus because the game looks brilliant and i can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be so awesome if Ubi would make the debut demo for download on a new section of the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo could do something similar to the DS demo service by allowing companies to showcase new games without making us pay $50 at first.

Already brought that up to them via email. They said in a very polite way that it was a great idea but they have no plans in implimenting that kind of service. Really dumb@$$ move if you ask me. My friend who have Sony and 360 download demos all the time. We should have the same right. Nintendo is big enough. The PS3 just passed the Wii for September for the first time because of their price drop and an unsaturated market. The Wii could use more features and games to improve sales. The price drop, NSMB Wii, RS2, and an assortment of other titles will help sales and the PS3's success won't last long. The Wii Shop Channel had to attract customers and a demo service would likely do the same.

AND THE PS3 is ahead because of the price drop and Uncharted 2, soon Ratchet and Clank. Probably not the motion control *****.

The price cut can only keep them ahead for about a month or two and I don't think that they will have prolonged success with the PS3. I would think that a demo service would be free just like on the 360, PS3, and ds.

About the demo play... yeah unless Nintendo does not give 3rd parties a plattform to release demos on it, we won't see Demos.

Ubisofts reply to your email, is just a nice way to say that they would do a demo, but Nintendo does not have the system in place to offer demos over Wifi connection.

They could offer demo discs(like on the gamecube)coming with another Ubisoft game or possibly with NSMB Wii. The 360 has demo discs and I don't see why Nintendo shouldn't share us the same amount of love.

Its just not doable in a scale that would actualy make the effort worthwhile. Demo discs are a possibility yes, but they would make more sense to be released with another game (raving rabbids for example)

Seen the new wifi-ambasador promotion? Has nothing to do with demos but if you help a friend get online with their wii both will get 500 Nintendo-points! Too bad everyone's already got a wii...

Why doesn't nintendo add their own demo downloads for wii, could ubisoft please demand nintendo to add demos for wii that's why we could buy sd cards for memory.

I have already mentioned this and I don't think that Ubi is interested in demos right now. They could make a section on the Wii Shop Channel or just give us demo discs with some of their other games. It doesn't look like it will happen, though.

Nintendo just announced that they will start to have wiiware demos later this month, but it might just be in Japan when it begins. Positive movement I think.

actually it wouldnt fit unless you have an SD card with a lot of space, and if it fits, it would need to be saved on the wiis temporary flash memory which woudnt have enough room,and even if it did, games on SD card are locked to the console it originated from, which was made by Ninty to prevent Wii-ware pirating. Youd be better off burning it to a disc, but youd need homebrew for it to run. So an official demo already on an approved and readable Wii Optical Disc would have to be distributed. Having a demo disc is the best idea and would be a good promotional event if it was included in Magazines like Nintendo Power, ONM, Game Informer, etc..
