I can't seem to find a profile right this second or photo, but what about the ones that had red and black underside. Know the one I'm talking about? maybe someone has a photo handy. Most of the books I have are US/Jap/tech data plane stuff and can't find a pic to scan.

I was planning to this one at some stage and the rest from that page would look great on your new template http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

This aircraft was found abandoned with a number of other Doras of II./JG 6 at Halle in Germany at the end of the war. The fuselage upper surface may be finished in RLM 82 Bright Green and RLM 81 Brown-Violet as depicted above, or in a combination of RLM 82 Bright Green and RLM 83 Dark Green. The fuselage of this aircraft is heavily mottled and weathered. The wing upper surfaces are finished in an odd pattern of RLM 77 Light Grey (or a similarly pale colour) and possibly either RLM 75 Grey-Violet or 82 Bright Green.

Hello JeSTeRs-Inc,

Whoa! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Now that is one sweet looking Dora! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif But it sounds like you found the terrible nose mapping. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I must say though, you did a great job aligning it. I'll be looking forward to more in the near future. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I'd really like to see Gerhard Barkhorn's Dora done next. Thanks Phas3e for posting my request! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Keep up the excellent work JeSTeRs-Inc! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif =S=

I didn't have too much trouble with the map of the skin. I kinda cheated on the dora by using my A-4 template and redrawing the engine areas.

I've got hold of better panel line drawings now, so I am going through it and making it good.

Movables will be done next.

Thanks for your help with the profiles guys, I'll try and get some more info on those listed.

I've got a file folder of ideas for this template, Jester. I'll pass them to you on messenger when I see you next. I think you'll like them!
