We have already seen some of the new creatures...i wonder how the other are gonna look like...
We still don't know which factions are gonna be in the game...so post anything you like...at least is a way of making time until the next info is release...

You know, that Minotaur does not look liek a Minotaur to me. It's just a mean cow on two legs that exchanged it's front feet for claws.
A Minotaur is supposed to be half human/half bovine - I see nothing of the human half in that one. That started in h3 and went on worse in H4 - that one was ugly. WHile H3 Mino still looked cool, it allready had hoofs instead of "normal" feet. That's something only H1 and H2 Mino have and that should come back...

LMAO at first i didn't click on that the names were links and i was wondering if i was going insane and you were describing the units and i couldn't see it.
I liked most of them, but i prefer the heroes 2 look to hydras rather than the one you choose that was more heroes 3/4. Also i liked the heroes 3 harpy. The wyvern scarily i think i have seen that picture in a book somewhere O.o is it from a D+D manuel or just a monster book?

From what we have seen of the units so far they look really good, the units in heroes 4 were awful. Some of them were just plain embarassing like the behemoth,sea monster, harpy, leprachaun, troglodyte,medusa,orc and many more.
Im really not worried about unit design so far they have done really well, im just worried about what units are in the game.

And a odd topic there who is sexier medusas or nagas O.o;;

I would like to see all the creatures as visual eye candy with random movement and sound depend on what type of creature it is.like , double clicking on something and having is peak some insane or hilariously funny saying or movements etc.So, while in battles you can sit there for hour upon hours looking at the creatures having something else you having yet seen keeping you virtually locked to the monitor.

I know it's too "*****" but it looks menacing...and i always wanted the gargoyle to go back to the Warlock faction...and the only way is to make it REALLY menacing since in HOMM III they where with the "good" wizard and they did look kind of evil.

I agree, the HOMMIV unicorn was the worst unicorn in all the saga. Actually the creatures in HOMMIV where the worst in the whole saga, maybe with the exception of the Titan (which in my opinion did not look bad).

I thought that the titan in Heroes IV was a MAJOR step down in terms of looks from the titan in Heroes III. It looked more like a plump gladiator in way too revealing armour rather than the mightily armoured creature from earlier games.

Also in H4:

The phoenix looked like a giant sparrow on fire which was not very impressive.

The unicorn looked like something that should belong in the mardi gras rather than a fantasy game.

And why is the naga bald and traditional African looking when it's supposed to be a Sanskrit creature?

On the other hand, I thought the angel in H4 looked pretty cool, though I also like the change they made to it in H5 (except maybe the weird shaped sword which looks a bit impractical)

Science Fiction? What the heck are you talking about. That IRON golem is entirely made of iron and can only react/move by magical means. Do you see any laser cannons or whatnot that would even begin to make this golem more futuristic?Sorry but I totally disagree with you on that one.
