Missing officer..........another bug?

I am at the mission screen and it states I have 5 officers (like I chose at the beginning of my campaign).

However, I only have 4 that are visible. I know I didn't dismiss any. To top it all off, it would appear that my most decorated officer is the one that is gone.

Wtf is going on here?

Is this yet another bug?

Don't know amigo, but my second most highly decorated officer just went MIA as well. The "Udo Hartenstien" guy. This happened on my first patrol since transferring from Wilhelmshaven to Brest around mid August, 1940. Ironic because Brest doesn't even appear on the map yet.

yup, my watch officer apparently likes to go scuba diving at odd times. At first I thought he must be waterskiing behind the boat, but he wasn't there.

My Watch officer alway drowns after the first dive, never to be seen again. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif We need him, please fix the WO bug.

Hi, 1st post here, great game, tho have exactly same bug, annoying as crew fatigued doing missing officer's work and cant hire new guy as it says i have 5/5. Tried editing crew career cfg's to no avail : (
