You truely revived my excitement about this game. Now, how about a deal - two screens every week? You can have the glory when we all buy the game.

Deal? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If the insane system req posted on heroic corners are true, this time nothing will save you from my wrath...unless you are anthrax immune.

For me Heroes V could have the highest requirements in the world, I wouldn't care. I would buy a whole new computer for Heroes V.

You are crazy. Or most probably, you have a lot of money..

I think some U.S. people won't like so much anyone kidding about anthrax and such.

BTW, a new computer in order to be able to play H5, if the requirements are true, could cost about 450/600E. I don't think that amount of money is "a lot" for anyone from before 80's generation, it's only a matter of sacrifice working during summer. If not, universitary credits are always an option.

I was somewhat joking, I allready have a system better than the requriments so no need for an upgrade.

But come to think of it, no other game has ever kept my intrest as long as Heroes 3. I still play it to this very day. That is alot of years of playing! And if Heroes 5 is as fun, it would be worth and upgrade seeing as all the other games will need better computers aswell.

Most fans already have a sufficient system to run this game.

Even if the post had to ...make a turn...
i think that the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS debate wouldn't lead anywhere, except some conflicts between forum members. If i was a developer of a game, i would have in mind the overal success of my title, and not the plobable low PC config, and low budget of fanatic gamers (who are not so fanatic when it comes to money). But even those who are claiming that wouldn't spend a dime for an upgrade if the games requires some upgrades, they eventually will be able to buy this title in a year or more. http://dowstats.relicnews.com/orks/nob_leader.jpg

Unfortunately, in the real world the marketing department and upper management have a say on what you do, and sales and success will be a priority. It's nice that you've made a really cutting edge game, but if it's going to limit sales, then it's not going to pass. What good is a nice looking game if hardly anyone can play it?

Believe it or not, Doom 3 is very scaleable. It actually runs quite acceptably on lower end machines and with the lowest graphic settings it still looks very nice.
