Right im new to the game and now i can't join a online gaem coz when im just about to get in it closes my game down. Y?
i just wanna play. at the moment i wanna send the game back to ubisoft coz its doin my head in

I can see that you are new to the forum, so you wouldn't know; there is a community help thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=frm&s=400102&f=954105331) that you should probably post this in...
Along the lines of solving your problem, we really need more information: things like system specs, other programs you are running, etc. Also, try to contact Ubi support or look in their knowledge base. That could be helpful.

Are you using Windows 64? That won't work here. Are you using a firewall? Disable it for online play. Any virtual drives or CD Emulation software like Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools? Disable or uninstall them.

If you try to play Coop, update to 1.02 patch. (run AutoUpdater) and try again. If it doesnt work after you tried 20+ times, wait till we get the next patch and cross you fingers that they fixes it.
If you try to play versus (SvM/Adversial) make sure your firewall/router is properly configured.
