Settlers IV Gold, possible mission difference against the original Settlers IV?

Hi,

Just started playing the Settlers IV Gold having got the installation issue resolved. Having completed the tutorials to remind myself of the game, I've now started the missions. I am half-way through mission 1 for the Romans.

I'm convinced this mission 1 is different to the mission 1 I had in the original boxed Settlers IV. Anyone else played both versions and noticed any mission changes?

I pretty sure of this, as I think in the original Settlers IV game I had, the Romans started on the west side of the map and the dark people were somewhere south. I remember this being the mission I could not complete.

In the Settlers IV Gold, Romans mission 1 start in 3 different locations and need to be joined together.

Maybe I'm going mad and it was another race lol

To the best of my knowledge the dark tribe aren't on the Romans, Vikings or Mayan miissions, but only on the Dark Tribe campaigns.
