All i want to ask is how do i play far cry online? As in what do i do? lol ><

1)click on MULTIPLAYER and then INTERNET.
2)get the latest patch
3)get some mappacks (if u dont have the map on server you'll get 'ERROR LOADING DATE' message

Im downloading the patch right now but after i download it is there anything else i need to do???

Whats a map pack and were do i get 1 >< lol

When i first tried to log in it came up "Connecting to UBI.com services..." i walked away and left it for 20 minutes cause it was taking ages and it was still there 0_0 you know wassup with that :P

There are custom maps available from http://farcry-maps.com , if you don't have a map a server is running you will be kicked and your cd key will be shown as in use for a few minutes.

At the moment online servers are mixed between running patch 1.33 (getting fewer), patch 1.4 and excalitrone (XT) mod v3. Make sure you join a server to match the patch you have installed.

I would recommend also downloading and trying the excalitrone (XT) mod (see relevant thread) as it gives you a choice of starting 1.4 or XT and if you run XT maps can be downloaded automatically if you don't have them.

Make sure you download the 1.4 full pack, which includes ALL patches!

Thanks guys i was able to log in and start playing... but now ive got in every single time ive played the game has just switched itself off.. sumtimes it happends straight away and other times im playing for 10 minutes before it happens. Anyone can help me??? =(

When I first started playing online my cpu overheated and shut the game down so check your cooling. Also if you have built in sound check that the drivers are from the sound chip manufacturer not the mother board provider.
