Unfinished Buisness

No I'm not planning some kind of secret revenge plot, though that is pretty tempting.....

No I'm refering to unfinished games. I'm sure we all have some games hiding around somewhere that we haven't finished due to either lack of intrest or something even shinier came along to distract us. And I'm not refering to the games that we're playing right now, I'm talking about ones that came out, oh say 3 years ago or longer that we wish to play again but have other things to play right now. I'm obviously no different, with RPG's alone I have about 15 in various states of completetion. Though in my defence most of those are rereleases and remakes, so it's more like 6 or something.

So post those games that you'd like to have the chance to go and finish. For me my top 2 are:
Pikmin 2
Xenogears

Xenogears is deffinatly one of those games I wish I finished, but had such a hard time playing because the text in that game made you read an encyclopedia's worth of words. It was too slow for me... but it was a killer game with an awesome battle system... arg my a.d.d.!

And Legend of Dragoon is on that list too- dunno why I stopped playing this one- but I did.

Let's not bring that up again. I failed that challenge horribly.

I still have yet to finish anything for the Xbox 360 except World Tour mode in Burnout: Revenge. I still need to beat COD2 Single Player, Condemned, Oblivion, Far Cry & Kameo.

Yes I figured it was a good idea for a thread and that it may of been taken already. Guess I'm just too lazy to search through the forum for previous threads. That and I really wouldn't want to revive an old thread.

I've been trying to swallow so many games recently. GRAW is the only one that's really kept my attention... oh, and Oblivion. Recently, I've been torn away from DOA4, Kameo, Blazing Angels and Far Cry to appease my appeitie for GRAW.

But! One game that I didn't finish that I'm almost tempted to blow the dust off my PlayStation and revive is Wild Arms.

I was all about Oblivion, then I got on XBL and my gaming life has changed a touch. I can't get GRAW out of my head, and suddenly I find myself enjoying FCI:P where as 2 weeks ago I was kicking myself for buying an xbox port. I need to settle in and complete Oblivion.

I gave this a thought again lol. I am friggen pulling my hair out. I played through the entire GUN game and even did all the side missions/tasks except for 1. To find all the gold. There were 44 if I'm not mistaken. I found all but 1!!!!!! One piece of gold kept me up alot of hours and I still haven't found it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Doom 3 (started to **** me), pretty much all command and conquer games (except CnC: Red Alert (soviet campaign)), any gran turismo game (just takes too long, and a new one comes out before i finish it), duke nukem 3d (finished one chapter), medal of honor: frontline ,allied assault and pacific assault.......

.....you know, it would be better to ask what games i have finished....

I'm already waste deep in unfinished games. I don't even know where to start. They span from PS1 to XBox and I own every current console right now,except for the 360. Hell I even have some old 8-16 bit games unfinished.

I never finished The Thing, even though it was really fun to play at the time. Quake 4, Doom 3, Painkiller: Gold Edition (new levels), Call of Duty 2, GTA: San Andreas. There are a ton under my belt I haven't finished. It's just hard to keep up with so many games. I want to play them all but I can't! : /

My list really only has two games that I haven't finished yet that are still somewhat in my possession or can be again with a call to a friend.

I'm in the last city, with maybe 3 or 4 missions left and I just never got around to finishing it. I got distracted.

Call of Duty 2
Ever since Fight Night 3 came out..followed by GRAW, I just couldn't get back into CoD2. This is even after they patched it.

A couple of weeks ago I sat down to play Oblivion and thought to myself "You know, I just don't want to play this anymore." So I haven't, and probably won't unless some really nifty mod or expansion comes out. I played Galactic Civilizations II instead (which is superb). I'm also about 85% of the way though Call of Duty 2 on the hardest difficulty. I should probably finish that.

Even w/o the patch you can still finish COD2? the patch basically concerns online issues.

GRAW is the killer of all games unfinished.

It is my observation that if you are a gamer both true or fly bye, that unfinished games will always be there. Depending on your genre, your finished games will vary. I notice that since I'm a FPS player, that I finish those games more than others.

I really want to finish Oblivion, including the guilds and daedric princes quests. More than that, I need to beat freaking Half-Life 2.
