Wide screen resolution

Ahoy there shipmates.
A couple of months ago i put a thread on here asking about the wide screen resolution fix and was directed to the community manual, it worked. In the mean time i have reinstalled windows and realised that i didnt save the fix. Ive have tried all the links to the community manual (from here) but they seem to be broken. Can somebody please post a link to where i can find the fix please.
