Ok here's a quite simple question and I'd like a simple answer.
Will there be support for not only texture addons but for new ac etc?

it reads, since you're too lazy to look it up :P

Can I create my own skins and objects for Lock On?

We greatly appreciate the flight simulation community and the wonderful enhancements in regards to after-market skin textures. While we cannot promise anything at this time, it is our hope and desire to include an easy-to-use option that would incorporate user-made skins.

Back in F2/2.5 you could almost reskin everything including visual effects with ease, so I'm pretty sure LOMAC will feature something similar, but if LOMAC becomes "modable" in other aspects that'd be cool too, such as new aircraft models, or maybe an entire new mod with tons of new stuff, however it doesnt matter that much since I'm going to buy it anyway, but I do really hope that more extensive modding will be possible.

i agree... if lomac is easy to mod and mess with, we could see some really cool mods. Especially if the design team goes bye bye (knock on wood). Look at all the stuff done with F4...

I don't think the game will need mods though. It looks pretty damned awesome.

I dont think you will be able to change much of anything except for the skins to the jets. You will not be able to make non-flyable planes flyable. That will be done through future add-ons done by UBI or ED, and new product releases.

I thought it would be nice to allow for modifications to the terrain features. For instance, could you imagine flying a mission in the winter time when everything is snow covered, or flying a mission in the fall time when there are multicolored trees in oranges and yellows. Now that would definitely add to the immersion effect that this game is suppose to provide to us.

But I still think the only modifiable part of this game will be the plane skins.
