Something odd happened last night on patrol...
I was near a land mass and my (apparently gifted) sonar man had a contact. The vector was autoplotted on my nav map...
It bisected a land mass! Is it possible that my sonar man can hear around corners???
..and technically, yes, it's a hydrophone issue not sonar.
