ABBBB for me here. Good enough for me considering I had 20 units rather than 16.

Having very little experience or knowledge on the rear end of ducks, I would probably guess the former.

congratulations, stick at it ...
Remember ... "C's might get you a degree, but A's get one that leads to a job."
also be careful who you compare yourself to ... there is no point saying "I did better than half the guys on my floor in college" if those particular guys are the ones that will drop out before third year and spend the rest of the recession unemployed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Because of the economy or my English skillz? No really my English skills are great when Im not writing on a forum and Im articulate talking to a crowd.
Great to hear other people doing well! This semester should be much better as Ive swapped to quieter accomodation so I wont be kept up all night 7 days a week. The noise really did effect my results this time round, but what the hey. Im really looking forward to moving onto the Biomedical course next year as well http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Hopefully some time over the next 3 years Ill get to transfer into Medical school. Im in the top 3 for biology on my course, the other two have studied Biology before at A-level. I figure if I beat them this term which I know Im perfectly capable of doing, then Im in for a chance at transfering to med school some day. I was 1 percent off an A in Maths and not far off in Chemistry and Physics either, just a little more effort.
Geology/geography which is what I studied at A-level was so boring. No competitiveness, if your the best you still get the same job as Mr Average lazy bones. Medicine seems to be a totally different story http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif
Yeah it was the first semester Roybaty! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif My take on it is that my grades can only go up from here, the novelty of having so many pretty ladies at uni has worn off now http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Your survival, clearly, is a sterling example of the decline of higher education in Britain, and explains modern British history concisely. The strong suit of the British mind was once logic and strength of exposition. Obviously, this went over the gunwales since 1960. Thank God I'm an American!
Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! for the world which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night.

Around half my year failed their first year at uni, quite scary to think what they'd been up to, considering I managed to pass with 2 weeks of crammed revision just before the exams...
Won't be doing the same thing this year though, its not a very good idea for my course... :P
