Because they are not cannon, they present storylines that are unbelievably lame compared to the actual Naruto story, and they generally have half-assed animation. They are not based off of the manga, so they don't even count in the Naruto universe. They are a pointless waste of time.

QFT Not to mention.... they dont fight!! Naruto filler is pretty bad, but the worst ive seen is bleach filler.... OOOO god horrible. They had an episode about playing soccer. Then another one after that about baking a cake. I was about 10 seconds from never watching bleach again after that.

you guys are right most of the fillers were terrible but you do get some funny ones.
I remeber dragonball z had no fillers in any of the episodes they all related to the plot. And there were like 276 episodes.

Yea if dbz did have fillers they would develop them well enough to where they had a full plot and story and just call them separate sagas or movies (like the garlic jr. thing and alot of the movies)
