The answer is a resounding maybe.

Normally, games from one patch cannot be used in another version but 1.32 and 1.33 had no single player changes.

All I can suggest is to try it and let us know. Just transfer over the ..\farcry\profiles folder

OK well i have another problem, perhaps related this this topic.
basically i started the game about a year or so ago with patch 1.1 got half way through and stopped. i have just resumed play again but this time patched to v1.4 and since then i have been having some real strange problems such as major gfx glitches and even problems with saving the game.
for instance i have just completed "control" and go on to "rebellion" only when i die all my save games dissappear and i have to exit and run again. when i go to load where i started off i find it didn't even save the new rebellion level, it just lists the latest one for the Control level???????

i have tried playing rebellion until the next save point but still no joy.

so basically i cannot continue, its annoying me to say the least! other games don't seem to have save game issues so why does this one?

does anyone have a save game for the start of rebellion on v1.4 that i can use to continue with?

any help would be appreciated?
