Seems to me, although I accept I have had a bad experience of all things Ubisoft so far, that their purpose is to deflect problems and minimise the negative feedback for Ubisoft on this forum.

Would truly welcome some comment from them regarding their brief to assist customers (that's what we are) if any.

Thanks guys.

Global moderators do the same thing as game specific moderators except we have authority in all the forums, not just for one game. The moderator's role is to enforce the Forum Rules (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4811054957/m/4041030057) and Terms of Use (http://www.ubi.com/US/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=TermsOfUse), to promote positive discussion and discourage negative behaviour.

Wow, a very broad brief. Could you expand upon "Promote positive discussion"? maybe give a few examples??

Thanks,

Since Mods are not paid by Ubi, I do not see how they could be forced to deflect problems and minimize negative feedback.

If that was there roel, thre wouldn't be a 184-pages-as-of-now thread about the DRM.

Positive discussion is what I like Jason, but unfortunately you do get others who turn it into a negative one.

Name calling, putting words into other's mouths, swearing, flaming, trolling.

Positive discussions is a discussion where even if two people disagree it does not go into close all out warfare.

If your after support for a game issue - then you do need to contact Ubisoft Support directly..

The community support forums on here, are for common problems, which may already have been answered, so people can share information.

Moderators are not really support, they can offer advice IF they know the answer, but you should not expect them to know everything however - since some things are generally more tricky, this is especially important with PC game issues, since PC configurations can be a major player in any problems you may have, So support should be your first stop.

If it's about the forums, rules etc, then by all means ask away - but you may find it quicker and easier to PM the moderator for your game title /forum you use, this will get their attention much quicker - rather than a 'general' post.

A list of Game specific Moderators is listed at the top of each games forums, along with Community Manager(s) and Forum Manager(s)

If you have questions about how these forums are moderated - I suggest you contact a Manager via PT.

If you have a complaint about the lack of support given on this site, that may be due to it not being an official support request area.

If you are not happy with what Support have told you or the level of service you received, I suggest you contact them again, and ask for the complaints procedure.

Any questions, please PM me.
