btw, where did you get that? and #2, are you sure its real? there were a ton of fake spoilers out there for ep 2.

Its a site where it shows previews for all upcoming films. And no its not fake, its real, it was taken from starwars.com. I think your safe to watch it, I mean(possible spoilers ahead) everybody knows that anakin turns into darth vader. They just show him as he "rises". Then a bunch of action clips. Nothing that will get "spoiled". I mean I still have NO idea HOW Anakin turns into Darth Vader. So I think your good http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif .

hm, alright alright. will have to watch later cuz i'm at work obviously working hard, right?
Ooo Ooo I know how he turns into Vader hehe. My friend for some reason knows the background story on Mr. Vader over here so I asked and he told and so I know. It actualy does make sense and probably should be a saber-duel packed film because of all the people that have to go. Now going back to Episode 2... who thinks the yoda fight kicked ***. I mean c'mon he walks in with a cane then bounces all over the **** place like a little green ninja lol.

I went to the premiere in sydney, and when yoda walked in everybody cheered. The people dressed up all waved their lightsabers about (the sword, not that /other/ thing. :P ). It was great!
When I saw that teaser... crikey. When Palpatine says "riiise" I got shivers.
Yes, I am a star wars nut. A slave to the Great Chin, you might say. :P

I saw a dreadnaught in that space battle clip. Go extended universe.

Ah, I'm such a geek I know that should've been, "Expanded Universe," rather than "extended"...
Sep, I'm vehemently anti-spoiler (the guy that pulls his hat down over his eyes in theaters for the movies he doesn't want ruined) and there really isn't anything too revealing in the trailer. Especially if you've read some of the novels and know part of the Star Wars universe's storyline already. Just watch it once or twice and don't look too closely, heh.
EDIT: By the way, folks, the best thing about that trailer is the credit listing at the end -- written and directed by George Lucas - NO JONATHAN HALES. He's the dirty so and so that ruined Episode II with gems like, "This is such a drag," and, "I'm so beside myself," along with having Obi-Wan mutter, "..my young padawan," every other **** sentence.. ugh. Oh.. and let's not forget the steamy dialogue between Padme and Anakin.. Now I have to go cry myself to sleep and try to forget. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

yeah, definitely worth seeing. a good wholesome family movie. and funny too.
i really like computer animation though, so looking at the cool textures and effects already makes the movie more entertaining for me.
anyways, its totally worth it for the SW preview. w00t!

That's the whole reason I'm going, Sep. Little sad going to see a movie for the sole purpose of watching a trailer? Perhaps. ;p Just gotta wait another 4 days then I'm kidnappin' my girlfriend and we're going to see it.
Everyone asks me, "Why don't you download the trailer?" I reply,"I did.." Then there's a lot of blank stares and general confusion.

Speaking of Star Wars and computer graphics did you pick up the remastered version of Star Wars Episodes 4-6? The graphic work in that sucked in some places, the tie fighters in particular with the green boxes around them.

of course i did! i wish GL would've kept some of the orginal stuff in there. maybe like a choice of watching the unedited version and the new ones, that would've been nice. i don't really dig some of the added scenes. seems out of place. the thing w/greedo shooting, jabba in episode 4, the end of ROTJ... i'm all for the yub yub song!! graphics wise, you're right, some of just doesn't fit.

I guess Vision meant the Special Editions by "remastered" since the green boxes came out of trying to touch up the film and remove, oddly enough, the tell-tale signs of special effects back in the 70s - 80s. That doesn't even bother me, there were always problems with dogfighting scenes in the original versions, but notice in Return of the Jedi when the Emperor is trying to anger Luke into snatching his lightsaber, there's a rather large black spot on the left side of his hood (that'd be your left) as if the crew started to "re-black" the cloak and just quit. I was appalled when I saw that on the VHS tapes, and extremely let down when it remained in the DVDs. =\
I don't know, Star Wars in general over the last 15 years has been giving me a lot of, "Why, God why," moments. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Yes I am for all 4 days. Yeah in the world of 24 Women are never totally bright. And Kim well when they were handing out brains she thought they said Trains so she got out of line. Season 3 on Dvd that means you have the UK version or R2 as it is called.

I think Lucas needs to let someone remake the original trilogy (4-6) with todays technology. No one can take the place of the real Han Solo or Leia... oh well. It would be cool.

what did you just say..? Ok sorry I had to act like a Star wars purist. I have thought about how tthat would look a few times. But at the same time they have been touched enough and should be left alone.
