I don't know about anyone else here, but i really would like some more stuff!
terrorist hunts are great already, but adding the ability to include hostage rescue would make off-line terrorist hunts amazing!
<span class="ev_code_RED">javascript:void(0);</span> tear gas/CS gas - wouldn't it be amazing if you could use this to disorientate terrorists before you go for the assault!
trip wire mine/proximity mines, having these in the game would be a blessing!
any other ideas? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

offline hostage rescue really needed
it would also be great if we could get AI team mates to use in some terrorist hunts!

U are asking them to reprogram their AI almost from scratch, possible but unlikely guys and the reason is that the current AI scripts do not account for hostages and even if they were scripted sequences, odds are that they would be predictable and extremely easy to clear.

it would be possible without starting from scratch they could add a weapons patch the terisost one would take about 2 months including online terriost hunt hostage rescue but not exactly from scratch

All of this is possible but it seems Ubisoft devs are so tied up doing multiple things that they can't put 100% support behind DLC. But i like the offline T-Hunt hostage rescue idea, definitely something they should consider for a future R6 game.

I don't understand how anyone thinking that off line Hostage rescue is a good idea. It's a great idea, so great in fact, that it was already in previous versions of R6, all the way to RVS anyways. They had several SP modes you could play, from lone wolf, hostage rescue, tango hunt. you could even play each completed mission at any time without messing up your saved campaign. All done with a up to 7 AI.
If the devs had spent anywhere near the same amount of time on the AI as they did on coming up with witty dialogue, then maybe they could add it in a patch, but since they are so heavily scripted to match the story, they cannot react to the environment well enough to make Tango hunt challenging.
They would need to react to noise, so suppressors would be needed. They should be visually capable to see you pass in front of their LoS and react, but not so eagle eyed as to see a toe sticking out from behind cover 30 yards away. The biggest issue I always had was the instantaneous relaying of your presence (almost Borg-like), where as soon as you were spotted by one tango, they all knew you were there and usually killed the hostage, when there should be some action needed to raise the alarm, like grabbing a radio, or hitting a panic button, something that you could intervene with a bullet to keep your presence unknown to the rest.
There is a fine line required to make a fun and challenging SP and coop mode, and right now, UBI is so far from that line it isn't even funny.

well really think about it, if you tried to add the hostage recognition system to the current AI, it is most likely to mess up with the current tactical scripting the AI currently has. You would have to create new actions such as "Shoot Hostage" and reprogram the whole decition making process. Yes it is possible to be added but from a programmer's point of view starting from scratch might work out better simply cause you can paste some blocks of code to test it out and void them in the case of failure of undesired results. Would take a lot more work to figure out problems with a full AI script.
