Why isnt this game being released on the PS3?

I hope im wrong but ive seen nothing about this being released on all platforms like the other splinter cells. Ive always had a playstation and im a big fan of this game. If im wrong and it isnt Xbox 360/PC exclusive then please let me know

Because they decided to focus on PC and Xbox360. And Microsoft probably paid them some money for it to be exclusive.

Knowing Ubi, there'll be a PS3 version lateron.

Ubisoft usually releases their games for all platforms. Games are expensive to create and it's not profitable to release them for only one platform. I'd wager that a PS3 version was on the drawing board during the initial brainstorming/concept phase but the fact that the game has only been announced for Xbox360/PC tells me that Microsoft cut a deal with Ubisoft.

However, unless Microsoft gave Ubisoft a lot of money, it's likely that such a deal would be a timed exclusive (i.e. the PS3 version wouldn't show up until 6-12 months later).
